And let's not forget the First Friday devotion today. The Two Hearts of Jesus and His Mother are always united https://www.thecatholiccrusade.com/first-friday-devotion.html
Prayer , Rosary, fasting, Adoration, Confession….. WMDs……. Weapons of Mass Devotion! What a beautiful invitation and gift for us on this First Friday and Saturday as we move closer to the great Easter Feast! will keep forum and your intentions in my prayers. Peace
Don't forget today is the First Saturday. Holy Mass, Confession, Holy Communion, Rosary, 15 minutes meditation on one or more mysteries of Holy Rosary. In reparation for the offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. To Jesus through Mary, Amen. In thanksgiving for the great grace of the long awaited Consecration of Russia to Immaculate Heart of Mary. May the Prince of Peace prevail in our troubled world, through the intercession of Blessed Mother and her little army of prayer warriors and faithful servants of the Lord. Amen
Done the first of the Saturdays. How hard it is round here to find a weekday Mass on Saturday. I have read that vigil Masses are ok as long as one goes to Mass again on Sunday but I wanted a Saturday Mass so I went to the conventual Mass at our local abbey. Got up at 6.45 in order to make it and I’m NOT a morning person! Made the meditation alone in that big church afterwards and as I left I felt such graces. Four more to go….
If you’re not a morning person, you probably just got a Lenten penance Good for you! I’m a bit luckier…we have a noon Saturday mass, followed by confession. Thank you Jesus! ( I’m not a morning person unless I’m unable to sleep )
Going shortly to first Saturday Mass and will bring all of your various prayer requests to the altar. Peace and keep me in prayer too- I need them.
I am headed to Mass as well shortly and it’s extra special as it’s our youngest son’s First Holy Communion service
That is such a sweet blessing. I was just thinking this morning about my own son who made his First Holy Communion so long ago, Take pictures when you can.
The above is the most beautiful rendition I know; the below is most praiseworthy. No matter what, it will be sung at my funeral!
I hope and pray that all of MOG are making their First Saturday's, especially now when this world is upside down. It seems that the enemy is winning, but we trust in Our Blessed Mother's words, "In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph.^ We await with unfailing hope for the triumph of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts so that the world will be renewed in Love.
