I just wanted say that I did not want to post something that someone ties hopes to and then be let down. The sacraments are everything. Mass is everything. Medjugorje is a kiss from our Blessed Mother to keep a strong faith in turbulent times. It is a breeze of cool air when you feel the sweltering heat of spiritual battle.

There is certainly a stepping-up of ominous events. The War Parties on every side seem to be increasing their purchase. Despite my reservations about so many things that Pope Francis has said and done, it cannot be ignored that he has undeniably granted a high degree of legitimacy to events in Medjugorge.

May the Lord God have mercy on us all.

Today I booked to go to Medjujorje. I haven't been in 2 years. Yesterday I attended my oncologist and was told all is good and he doesn't need to see me anymore. I still have 3 weeks of radiotherapy but all is looking good. The nurse sat to me that I should now give myself a treat as I had got such good news. So I immediately thought of returning to Medjujorje in thanksgiving. I will be travelling on 17 September. My husband broke his pelvis at that date last year and has fully recovered. So much to be thankful for. Thank you for all your prayers

Exactly. Many say that dates can be changed, chastisements can be averted or postponed etc. But this certainly DOES NOT apply to either Medjugorje or Garabandal. The Medj seers were clear about this. And Conchita was also clear about this. In Garabandal she was given a date for the miracle and she has repeatedly stated that that date HAS NOT changed (our own Glenn can confirm this since he´s in direct contact with Conchita). And since the warning allegedly happens within a year prior to the miracle we can safely assume that its date HAS NOT changed either.

Yes, in the past God may have cancelled or postponed events but not in Medjugorje or Garabandal.

My understanding is that the seventh Medj secret was LESSENED, but not cancelled as some sites incorrectly report.

Anyway, time will tell. Let´s keep our lamps full of oil. At the end of the day, this is all that really matters.

Yes, the severity of the seventh secret was lessened due to prayers, but not cancelled. As John Paul II said ,

“We must prepare ourselves to suffer great trials before long, such as will demand of us a disposition to give up even life, and a total dedication to Christ and for Christ… With your and my prayer it is possible to mitigate this tribulation, but it is no longer possible to avert it, because only thus can the Church be effectively renewed. How many times has the renewal of the Church sprung from blood! This time, too, it will not be otherwise. We must be strong and prepared, and trust in Christ and His Mother, and be very, very assiduous in praying the Rosary.”

l am convinced (for various reasons) that Exodus and the Medj. apparitions are closely connected which is why I believe that 2021 (40 years from the start of the apparitions) is the year that the secrets will begin to unfold. There are 10 secrets and there were 10 plagues in Egypt, including 3 days of darkness. I think that the secrets may in some ways reflect the plagues of Egypt.

You are not the only one who thinks in terms of 40 years.

The Talmud speaks of forty years between the failure of the Jewish priestly sacrifice (superseded by another Sacrifice, but the Talmud obviously doesn't mention that) and the Fall of Jerusalem. Are we now about to encounter the Fall of the New Jerusalem?

With respect to the 10 plagues you mention, there are increasing reports of the spread of the fall armyworm throughout the world and African Swine Fever is on the rampage through Asia. That's famine and pestilence and there are wars and rumours of war throughout the Biblical regions. Are Greece and Rome about to face assault by the Parthians-the more things change...?

The so-called “breadbasket” of the US has been hit by extremely destructive storms and bad weather. Crippling storms and extreme flooding. It’s hurting agriculture. Famine?

I have read the comments and understand that I am not alone in this opinion. I was just explaining why I agree. But thanks for pointing this out.

My smartphone broke today and I am travelling there very soon. I am wondering is it a blessing in disguise that my smartphone broke? Personally I wish to be free of all this technology. What would we do if an emergency situation were to happen and we were all so reliant on all this. Including that, there is the notion of surveillance. Or Am I just being over cautious or paranoid? I intend on getting a non-smartphone. A downgrade.

Hopefully it will be a healing experience this year in Medjugorje. Looking forward to outdoor Adoration.

Go with your intuition and gut feeling for
what you prefer. I think you can get a phone that is not a smart phone, but you might need one. Example: my son was in Dallas recently and his flight was delayed three times. He could not make his connections. I was able to monitor the delays on the internet on my phone and stay in touch with him via text. He opted to make reservations in Atlanta and fly the rest of the way home the next day. I was informed quickly.
It helped us immensely to keep in touch.

Is the 18th of June significant for any reason, does anyone know?

I find my ancient Nokia very reliable and sturdy. Mine is a bit fancy, having a camera, but there are models available without such indulgences.
