Truly amazing and miraculous!! Noticing all the different language identifiers on small placards on the ground next to each priest, there is little concern for the violation of privacy.
This statement, if true which I have no reason to doubt it is, is perhaps one of most definite markers for events to seriously unfold that has been given by any messenger that I know of. One would assume then that all 6 off the seers would be given all 10 of the secrets within the next two years, (7 of them being about chastisements) forthcoming to prepare the way for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
The problem with this statement is that it does not take into account the extension of the time of mercy that occurred after that fact. Actually, they are talking about soccer. A football (soccer) match has 90 minutes and an extra 30 minutes overtime. If we would be given 30 minutes, it would correspond in years to at least 15 years. How many extra years did God grant to the world?
Extraordinary! I have never had the good fortune to visit Medjugorje, but looking at this I can see why PF has authorized pilgrimages. Even though there is no official approval, if the Medjugorje message continues to lead so many Catholics from all from all over the world back to Jesus, then the fruits of Medjugorje cannot be ignored. Looking at the scene, I might feel strange going to confession under such circumstances but I am pretty sure any awkwardness would disappear when you are in the moment. I wonder, are confessionals this busy at Fatima, Lourdes, or Garabandal?
I didn't know what to make of the soccer metaphor because the starting time is not certain, nor the ending, but as we witness things progressively getting worse, we know that at some point there will be some kind of cease to the progression of lawlessness. The other thing I question about Mr. Manetti's reasoning is that secrets #4-10 all are bad. I seem to remember one of the visionaries saying that not all of them are bad, but enough of them are, so that we should pray as much as possible for the conversion of those that do not know the love of God. JoM, I have never been to any of the Marian pilgrimage sites in Europe. The only time I have seen so many people confess is at our parish before Christmas and Easter. It is a very hopeful sight to behold.

Mate Salinovic Many know the 'white-bearded man' next to Mirjana during the 2nd of the month apparitions. Some have wondered who he is and about his role as he appears to protect Mirjana. In the conversation he compared his conversion to that of Saint Paul. Mate has become a true apostle of the Madonna. He is quiet and withdrawn in prayer as he walks his path to holiness. My name is Mate Salinovic, I come from Croatia, more precisely from Dalmatia, the City of Vrgorac. How did you come to know about Medjugorje? How did you come to volunteer here? At the beginning it was more of a lack of faith, or, to be more diplomatic, inner curiosity. It's a long story. I remember when the apparitions began, I just wanted to laugh. I had a rather turbulent life until then and was working on a ship when a friend came to me and told me that the Madonna appeared near my hometown. My first comment was: Yes, of course, there's too much room for her in heaven and therefore now she just wants to walk Herzegovina. What nonsense .... A year later, in 1982, when my father died, I went back to Dalmatia and all of my friends suddenly wanted to go to Medjugorje because they were curious about what was going on there. I was not impressed enough to want to join them, but in the end I decided to go. At that time I did not imagine Medjugorje as a place of pilgrimage and did not think about the Madonna. I considered it rather as a journey, a bit of fun in Herzegovina, clubs, women, etc. As I think back on that time, now I believe the Madonna was preparing me for my work today. At the time, I was a terribly immoral person. I was only interested in women and nightlife, nothing else, ..... When I arrived in Medjugorje, I noticed that the women just ignored me. Whatever line I tried, it did not work. Since at that at that very moment when I was in Medjugorje, in my immaturity I began to pray, "Dear Madonna, why can't you find a woman for me here, because you are appearing here?" I wasn't accustomed to this rejection from the women. In other places, like Zagreb or Split, there was always someone, but here, try as I might, it did not work. Immersed in these thoughts, something suddenly snapped during my prayer with the Madonna and I began to feel a terrible shame. I thought to myself: people come here to pray, to find themselves, to bear heavy burdens and to experience healing, and I pray for the Madonna to let me have some fun. Terrible! I'll never forget that feeling of shame. You have become a kind of bodyguard to Mirjana during the apparitions? Yes. I'd rather say that I am an assistant. I do not want to attract 'attention to myself.' But when I realize that there are people who want to disturb these special moments, or that there are people possessed by the devil, there has to be someone who is there to lend a hand to give peace and in the case of the possessed, to offer help. I know that from personal experience there is an overwhelming feeling of joy that pilgrims experience, and I simply do not allow anyone to destroy those moments. I go to confession regularly so that I know how to carry out my responsibilities. But I want to especially protect the visionaries, for whom I have great respect, because they also have a large cross on their shoulders, and we must respect this cross. Many pilgrims come in spite of the cold, heat, winds. So many pilgrims! They travel here from around the world despite many difficulties. There are very many pilgrims. They all want to enter. They try to be close to Mirjana but that is reserved for priests, the sick, etc. We helpers arrive before 4 AM. I cordon off the place near where the Madonna will appear, but so many people want to enter to be close to the Madonna. Everyone wants to get close and some are making problems. I try to keep order. I have done this for 11 years, but I'm tired. Many times I have considered stopping. This is a program of God. Everything is possible for God and for the Madonna. Thanks to them. They know why I'm there. Some Italian pilgrims approached Mate to ask questions. Pilgrim: What time is the apparition? Mate: Mirjana will come after 8 am. When the Madonna comes, we have to wait. Pray and wait. Pilgrim: I'd like to stay closer to Mirjana. If we arrive at 6 am ..... Mate: Do not worry where you stand during the apparition, just make sure you're in peace. What do you want to see? You can be at peace anywhere. Peace comes from the heart. If you have a stone in the heart, there is no place for love and peace. Do not go home with the same stone, have it replaced with peace.
Dates are so tricky because they mostly come and go with nothing happening. But the timing of the LORD is perfect and so we wait in joyful hope for happier, holier, days.
