PCR test confirms I have COVID Hello from Houston, Texas USA. First, let me pay respect to those who suffered terribly and died from COVID. There, but for the grace of God, go I. Here is my experience with COVID. I assume it is Omicron, which is over 85% of the tests in Houston. I am a 65 yo, unvaccinated, healthy male. I’ve been taking 5000iu of D3 almost daily since early 2020 along with 1 g of C. This was supplemented with the occasional zinc, EGCG, magnesium, and selenium. I also had my Vitamin I “horsey paste” tubes in the yellow box, ready. Last Thursday, the Dec. 16, I had sore sinuses, bronchia, and nagging cough. I thought it was allergies. Then I felt some body aches and decided to go full “Def con 4”. I squeezed off my body weight on the plunger of horsey paste onto a spoon and swallowed the sour apple gel. This was the first of 4 daily doses. The next day, Friday, I had headache, dry cough, and extreme body ache along with a very sore throat. I never had trouble breathing, nor did I lose taste or smell. Saturday morning I woke up with a 102F fever, that went away in about an hour and never returned. I continued with my zinc, C, and EGCG, and added pepsid, baby aspirin, and cold/allergy med with the much appreciated cough suppressant. As mentioned before, I took horsey paste 1x/ day for 4 days. Sunday, I went to get tested and the results came back positive on Monday. I’m still coughing up a little phlegm, never had any trouble breathing and I get a little tired by evening. The experience is like a mild flu for me and it is an underserved blessing. I assume I have good antibodies. Prayers and blessings to all.

My Omicron COVID Update. Beautiful chilly day in Houston today. I went for two one-hour hikes, so I’m pretty much over it. It’s been 5 days since first symptoms. I will continue the prescribed self quarantine. WRT my first posting, I should have stated, “Now, l hope I have good antibodies”. Merry Christmas.

EGCG-Green tea extract, a nutritional supplement which acts as a zinc ionophore, i.e., will aid in getting zinc into the cell. The zinc will then help disrupt the virus from replicating.
Thank you. Jason had told me about green tea but I didn't recognise EGCG. The only place I'm likely to find it is inside a large shopping mall. I'm staying away from such places until after the Christmas rush. Everyone in the country must have been out shopping today. There was a queue to get into the supermarket for the first time since the lockdowns began. Happy Christmas.
