This image is featured in this video about Mont Saint Michel . I immediately LOVED it, and hoped to find it via Google Images. Sure enough! At very top of the search page. Thank you, Michael.
Apologies, everyone. I'm not disregarding ongoing troubles. Keeping all in prayer. I'm a lover of the beautiful, I am a poet. Sharing yet another image. This is GORGEOUS. Angel Traveller by Gustave Moreau (1826 - 1898)
Unfortunately I cannot save this image to my computer, to upload the file to show on posting. It's a stunning Virgen de Guadalupe by Rufino Tamayo (1899 - 1991). Painted in 1926. http://www.artnet.com/artists/rufino-tamayo/virgen-de-guadalupe-MkzVRNJtQZ6waVsGUtgy3A2
"Blessed are you, O Virgin Mary, who bore the Creator of all things. Grant us, O merciful God, protection in our weakness that we, who keep the Memorial of the holy Mother of God may, with the help of her intercession, rise up from our iniquities. Amen."
I especially love images of the Sacred Heart as a child, and recall my initial surprise that Sacred Heart images aren't all adult Jesus.
This picture I bought in college for my future children's bedroom. It has been hanging in my son's room and over his bed since he was born. I just love it so much.
Apologies? I’d say we need these wonderful images now more than ever. Thanks for sharing. Here’s a favorite of mine. The three Marys at the foot of the cross.
