That's certainly gift enough for me! Mary said we will not regret joining her in prayer. That's an interesting phrase and I just don't know that any of us know for sure how to interpret what she means!
The definition of regret is to feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over something that has happened or been done, especially a loss or missed opportunity. So I take her message to potentially mean that whatever "happens " those that accepted her invitation will NOT feel this sense of loss. I suppose it may mean there will be a sense of comfort and maybe even joy (in the Christain sense). You are right we don't exactly know, but I do know it will be a good thing for us. Peace
Miker & Jackzokay, I’d be very interested in joining a Consecration to Mary. Will you be planning it? God Bless.
I'm not sure how best to do it as a group tho.. Do we all just get started on the 9th? I have the book and I'm ready to go. But I'm sure those that don't have the book can get it online - or, can actually find the prayers online (as opposed to having to buy the actual book).
I have book too. There may be an online version. How’s thus for a thought …. Maybe we start the 9th and we do the days individually and then see if we can set up a zoom/trans call once a week to do round robin feedback:reflection? We could also set up a group chat here? Im not the most technically savvy but I think my kids could help me figure it out. if this makes sense let me know. We can start another thread to get names of others interested.
There is a whole forum - Consecration to Mary with all the prayers. One thread with the whole consecration done out. 2019 Forum Consecration to Jesus Through Mary | Mother of God
I could do with this. Been too long. 9th suits me fine. I have followed this in the past https://www.fisheaters.com/totalconsecrationmontfort.html
Thank you Sam. I missed your thread back in 2019. This is perfect. Would you mind if I bump your original thread and use it for the group that is planning to start next week on January 9th and finishing up on Feb 11th ? I was also wondering did any of the group that did it back in 2019 "meet" virtually to share/reflect. I would like to see if that is something we could do. Thanks again!
Hmmm... very short and very direct. Maybe there is not a lot of time left? Or perhaps after "this" time it will be too late for prayer?
This is word for word nearly an identical message...could it mean that it should be a time of prayer during Lent?
