We've all been there, Dust.... and some of us are just starting out as well. One thing that Johnette's guest Fr Patrick said that resonated with me; when we consecrate ourselves to Mary, we need not be afraid that she'll ask too much of us, (your fear of 'slavery'). In fact when we give her ourselves, what really happens is that she gives herself to us - without sparing. She's a mother, and what good mother will not sacrifice herself for her children?
