Prayer said. And don't start again if you mess up the preparation,just continue. You will have the rest of the year messing up in practice or so I find.
I think I might leave it off this year, I might be taking on too much. I had a very difficult year last year and also this year .
Thanks Mac. I'm serious about making a better effort this time. I didn't see any complaint, Sanctus. Life has its ups and downs. We just have to remember that "footprints in the sand" message and put our trust in Jesus to help us through the tough times and remember to thank Him for our blessings. I came across a website with details of the St. Louis deMontford 33 days of preparation which you might find helpful. I don't know whose website it is or whether the programme was for a specific group of people who were preparing for the consecration at that time (Feast of the Assumption in 2014). You might find it helpful in the future because it is very well laid out and seems easy enough to follow. Perhaps a forum member who is a Total Consecration veteran could tell you whether there are any variations on the website from the standard St. Louis deMontford method. Im involved with it currently for the feast of Fatima. I converted surrounding Fatima so this is very fitting. The toughest day was involving the crucified Jesus day 17. I had a rough day that day.
A few of us started on April 18th. I'll be sure to check out the thoughts surrounding the crucifixion when day 17 arrives. We will renew our Consecration on 5/21. See the 2018 Consecration thread! Safe Under Mary's Mantle!
