Please, who drew this? It’s very appealing to the young because if it’s animated qualities and I’d like to know where I might see more like it. Thank you!
Advocata Nostra, I'm sure you probably know the significance of your avatar depiction of Mary. Are you Italian? https://motheofgod.com/threads/gratitude.3908/ If you go to p.5, post 98 on the above link, you'll learn why it is special to my family! A sweet memory from 2014. By the way, this painting could be the earliest one of Our Lady in the West! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Man, time fly's! It seemed like just yesterday this was posted. Those must be great memories for you and the family.
Yes, indeed, Fatima! Back in the early days when I was studying for the diaconate! Time flies! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Hello, Terry! My goodness, I’m so uplifted by this I may not get to sleep! So wonderful of you to share all this with me—I really do thank you. The moment I saw Her face online several years ago and learned about the image’s significance, it was sort of a love at first sight. Those eyes!!! And now to know that I am literally beneath Her breast being prayed for by my beautiful Advocate since yesterday, I am blown away. (And St. Columba is there, too—woah, what a special place, indeed.) The photos of your son’s ordination to the Holy Priesthood are amazing. May God bless him in his vocation and ministry! All I could think of when I saw the photo of his First Mass was, “Introibo ad altare Dei.” May God bless you and the Holy Virgin protect you! PS—Si, mostly Italian in ethnicity.
Advocata Nostra, I don't mean to pop your bubble, but the Irish on the Forum love their St. Columba. The martyr's bones at Mount Mario are of a lesser known Columba! Sts. Columba, pray for us!
Well, maybe our lesser-known Columba is reaching out for some proper recognition. I’ll see what I can do!
