    That's for God to judge.

You just posted an article with the quote "we deserve this awful pontificate"

Yep. And it's still true. Posts here often illustrate why.

Well, I love you anyway BrianK, but I know it will all work out. Im sorry you're so angry. I trust Jesus when He said His Church will be here until the end of time. And even if Pope Francis is all bad as you say, another promise was the dogma will NOT change. We've had anti-popes before and we are all still here today professing our Faith.
Overquoted here I know but, pray, hope and don't worry BrianK.

I have Faith, I'm not angry, I trust in The Lord, and I know it will work out in the end.

When you've literally been faced with death due to medical complications, it clarifies things.

But souls are being lost by the silence of the Faithful. At judgment I want God to know I tried to defend the Faith and work towards the salvation of souls despite resistance, to the best of my limited abilities.

    God bless you too.

You're preaching to the choir. We are all Catholic here, I believe? I don't believe people on the forum are who you need to try to save. Just my opinion though.
Speaking poorly of our Pope isn't good. Ever. What good does that do?

Well I suppose we all have our different reasons and methods in defending our Faith. You, because you nearly died (which I did not know that, and am very sorry)
Me, because I grew up in the south where no one was Catholic. Everyone spoke poorly of the Pope. They would say Catholics are going to Hell because of (insert reason) and I was constantly having to answer to these people of such little Faith. But, we are all on the same side here. We all want to make it to Heavan (or for me, Because I've been the worst sinner, at least to the depths of purgatory). So, I do as Our Holy Mother asks of me, I pray for our priests, bishops, cardinals and Pope. Everyday!
I hope you're recovering, health wise. Really.

I had four strokes in March, then a procedure to place 2 stents in the arteries of my brain. I was told I had a 1 in 5 chance of not waking up, but I was already paralyzed on my left side (whole arm and leg) and the right side of my face, and could barely speak, so I just trusted in God and accepted whatever He wills. And I offered up all the sufferings involved (I'm a doctor and can no longer practice at age 50, so there are plenty) for the Church and souls and this pope. Then and since, and the recovery has been a lot of work, and not a little suffering.

I was confined to a wheelchair after the last stroke, but after many small miracles here I am this evening, walking without my walker or crutches for the first time:

God is good. It might not look like much to people not familiar with serious strokes, but this really is. I've lost 50 pounds, my cholesterol went from 350 to 90, my blood sugars and blood pressure are now perfect, and the doctors think I've had a "remarkable" recovery. But I know it's the prayers of many good people and the kindness of God.

And it's also why I felt it necessary to post the comment in the link in my signature line. Until folks have actually told God that they're willing to take up the cross for the Church, souls, and this pope, and God lets them carry a cross, they can't understand why someone can't be silent in the face of error. It's the least we can do for Him.

Thanks. I agree. I had stents in the left vertebral artery and the basilar artery following strokes in the basilar area, several in the right cerebellum and at least one extending into the pons, and the top of the cerebrum. (My brain looks like Swiss cheese on the scans,)

I really shouldn't be here - but am by the grace of God.

You are correct. You're lucky to be alive! More importantly, you didn't waste your suffering. You offered it up as you are asked to do. So thank you for that.
Secondly, Id like to add, I still don't like all the negativity I see posted all over here about the Pope. Not just by you.

I have a question BrianK. If you don't mind? During your medical emergency, did you happen to be wearing a green scapular? As I was putting my brown one on this morning, I thought about your miracle. I was just wondering:)

Unfortunately no, I left my brown scapular with Miraculous Medal and my Benedictine Medal crucifix at home when I first went to the ER, not wanting them to get lost. But I received the Last Rites first in the Novus Ordo Rite (early March, from my pastor) then in the Traditional Latin Rite (after my procedure, from a good priest of the Pittsburgh diocese who offers the Traditional Latin Mass.) So I'd like to think I was covered ;-)

    Oh my! You were covered!!
The green scapular has been attributed to healings such as yours, and that's why I asked.
You're very lucky, but I think you know that.
Praise be to God for priests!

Preaching to the choir, here? Oh, I don't think so. Unfortunately.
