    I just read some news that there were two Nuns at Mass and some parishioners. One Nun is in the Hospital. One of the Perps was a known Terrorist but was out on Parole with an ankle bracelet.

    I believe there were 5 people in the Church altogether.
    1 the Priest saying Holy Mass,
    2 Nuns, one of whom escaped and raised the alarm.
    2 Lay people, I believe these were an old man and an old woman.

    The Priest is dead God rest his soul.
    The old man is seriously injured, and it must be the old woman and the second nun who were also injured.

    All I can think of is prayer. My heart is so heavy. The psalms of lamentation and this prayer:

    1. Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
      The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide;
      When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
      Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me.
    2. Swift to its close ebbs out life’s little day;
      Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away;
      Change and decay in all around I see—
      O Thou who changest not, abide with me.
    3. I need Thy presence every passing hour;
      What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s pow’r?
      Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?
      Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me.
    4. I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless;
      Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness;
      Where is death’s sting? Where, grave, thy victory?
      I triumph still, if Thou abide with me.
    5. Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
      Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies;
      Heav’n’s morning breaks, and earth’s vain shadows flee;
      In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.

    Sigh. I would suppose as the old priest died for his Faith he would be a martyr and go straight to heaven.

    Its hard not to feel bitter.

    Many prayers. For the grace of forgiveness.

    I know it is natural to feel bitter in the light of such evil, but we must immediately focus our gaze on Jesus on the Cross as he said those words so full of love for those who were crucifying him and also said to all of us at the same time "forgive them Father for they know not what they do." We can't do this relying on our own weak sinful hearts, but rather we must continually ask Mary and Jesus to plunge us deep into the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and through her into the Sacred Heart of Jesus so that it is with their love and strength that we can repeat those words and push through and not let these thoughts take us over.

    For another clear stark reality check on the truth of islam, read Mark Mallet's article today.

    And for those who worked with muslims and found them nice peaceful people. You need to focus on what it is that you need to see in a political system that has been brain washed into over a billion people world wide.

    For I now see ever more clearly THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES.

    St John Bosco prophesies, Fr Stefan Gobbi and others have prophesied all this.
    When the time is right and the call goes out, your nice polite peaceful people will have an order to kill or convert you. If they do not comply with their imams, they themselves will be seen as traitors and risk death if they do not obey their masters. And we will be fighting for our lives or killing the bastards when the time comes, and come it will.

    I have muslim neighbours, they are nice polite decent neighbours; but if they try to attack me, I will not go down without a fight.

    I believe what we have been watching since the year 2000, is the inevitable turn in the tide towards a punishment for so many people turning away from the Faith, and islam is the means that will purify us for our crimes against God.
    Yes, there is time to mitigate the severity of the bloodshed that is coming upon us. And isn't it amazing that like with Noah and the flood, the tide has been rising for some years around us and how many have been in denial. Expecting everything to be revealed in 20 or 30 minutes or at the most an hour or two just like in the movies.

    The only weapon available to us while we wait for the knife is the Rosary. Any takers to join the ranks of the prayer warriors needed to mitigate what is bound to happen.

    Somebody posted this Pic on MILINET Blog today. You could replace the word Europe with USA or Christendom and it would "work" just as well:(:

    Julia, I will agree that Prayer is our primary weapon but, as throughout history, survival of Christendom has depended upon Warriors of all categories. Let's pray that it will be different "this time" but prepare with the lessons of the past in mind! People of Faith gathering together ... clergy, bakers, nurses, homemakers, carpenters, farmers .......................... and Men at Arms.

    The French Prefect with resposibilty for the town of Lourdes has adivised that he cannot assure protectioon for the August pilrmimage procession there.

    I wonder if this is for real or if it is Masona trying to shut down Lourdes, they never like it. How can they provide protection to major sports and political events and not to a religious processio? Does this mean he is saying Lourdes has to close for the procession or it is up to people to make their own decision to go or not?

    Why can Catholics not be given guns to provide their own protection?

    The whole thing stinks

    http://www.riposte-catholique.fr/perepiscopus/lourdes-suppression-processions

    'I learn that the processions that take place usually in the city of Lourdes on August 15 may not take place this year. The prefecture does not have the necessary means to ensure the protection of Catholics.

    The Feast of the Assumption is for the Catholic community a major party. Particularly in France where it is a day of prayer for our country. Particularly in Lourdes where the Virgin Mary asked Bernadette: "Go tell the priest that we come here in procession".

    A petition asking the prefect and the mayor to reconsider their device:

    We Catholics French citizens, we feel helpless, like second-class citizens. Our community is still suffering from the barbaric execution of our priest, Father Jacques Hamel. We deny celebrate the feast of August 15, as it is customary for over 150 years in Lourdes without interruption even in the most painful hours has crossed our country only adds more sorrow to our pain. We do not want to give in to the terror that our enemy imposes us, holing us in our parish church.

    This is not the procession in the sanctuary, which is still allowed, but that of the parish of Lourdes. Father Duhar at the end of the Mass 11am, announced. He recalled the origin of this procession, which does not come apparitions of the Beautiful Lady of Massabielle Caves, but the conversion of a Muslim prince Lorda at the end of the siege of Saint Charlemagne. This prohibition of procession, also the renewal of the consecration of the town of Lourdes to the TSVM gains even more gigantic importance.'

    Padraig, I spoke to a lady who has just come back from Lourdes and she told me there were big fence things around the grotto. I believe the fences were there as a security means.

    This might have been because of the Priest who was martyred while this lady was on pilgrimage to Lourdes. I don't know.

    I think some Christians will be driven to attack the mosques and that thing they all bow to 5 times a day, if this nonsense does not stop.

    While people criticise Pope Francis for his naïve Peace message. I did read that because of him saying there is no religious war; because war is about power and greed. His statement brought a direct response from the extreme muslims in which they stated; they hate us and there IS a war. So we got the truth and the media even published the truth for once.

    I think we are naïve to think a Pope could call an army together nowadays to fight these demons. There are not enough Christians left to fight back any more. And most people that I have come across in my lifetime have been brainwashed into believing it was Christians who were the cause of the wars with muslims in the past.
    Our governments think the muslims will finish off the Christians; but they will find out atheism is even more hated than Christianity. And the womens libbers who cavort around half naked are the very white trash muslims use as a reason to destroy the West. These women are dirty, damaged, diseased bitches to muslim extremists and are not even fit to be used in brothels. So they will be exterminated pronto once the kill begins. Interesting how satan prepares a nation in sin to scoop the victims for hell when his demons strike.
    And the rainbow flag that flies over the perverts will be another reminder of their fate; because homosexual men are probably no better than the white trash and can look forward to the same fate.

    Well Julia,

    I don't suppose Pope Francis or anyone else that counts for much in the Vatican would agree with me on this. As a matter of fact if they heard me views I suppose thier faces would turn a funny colour of puce and they'd keel right over.

    But anyway for what its worth , if God gave me the power to do so I would place a gun in the hand of every Catholic man woman and child on the face of this planet and in the hands of every Catholic child I could teach to shoot straight and I would encourage them all to get themselves to a quiet place and to learn as well and quickly as they could how to use them. Any if they , or anyone else, asked me why I had done such a thing I would tell them that I would prefer to see them die on their feet toe toe to toe fighting against those who sought their lives than on their knees, weaponless , defencless against their enemies. For Governments that are not Christian but pagan, will not defend those of the true Faith , nor will their pagan armies come to our help.

    I know this is not modern. It is not progressive, it is not liberal, but I would be much more happy to see my Catholics brothers and sisters throughout the world firmly with a gun to hand than defenseless at this time. The Church has always taught we have a moral right, indeed a moral duty to defend ourselves and those we love. Certainly we can no longer depend on the pagan rulers of Europe to do so for us.

    I don't trust our pagan Governments, who murder the unborn in their millions, I wouldn't trust them to protect my dogs. They are Satanic. Thankfully my dogs can well protect themselves.:);)

    As can I.

    It is funny, I had an email from my brother in Texas a day or so ago. He mentioned that in Texas everyone is armed, and if the muslims start to attack they will get a bullet for their trouble.
    Interesting how in USA this threat is already causing reaction. But unlike the UK, people out there are already in a position to defend themselves.

    When I was young, Julia I saw Catholic areas in this ciy burnt to the ground because they were defenseless. I stood and watched entire streets burnt. I would prefer to see my Catholic brothers and sisters armed.

    As I say I don't trust leaders who murder unborn babies. I don't trust their police forces and I don't trust their armies. Better to have a gun and trust yourself.

    We're a long way from needing guns, Padraig. Armed resistance in the North degenerated into a bloodbath that bore no fruits other than the rise of a party whose platform is as anti-Catholic values as you will find anywhere.

    The blood of martyrs in Europe will be the seed of the faith as always although the seeds could lie dormant in the ground for a generation or two. I can't remember where I read about Fr. Hamel's relations with the Muslim community in his area (don't know whether it was on this forum). I read that Fr. Hamel was big into inter-faith harmony and that the local mosque was built on land belonging to the Church and is located very close to the parish Church. I don't know whether they sold the land or gifted it to the Muslims. I don't think his assassins frequented the mosque.

    I notice that the procession at the grotto in Lourdes hasn't been banned. Most likely, there will be special forces protection for the grotto because there will be pilgrims from all over the world and the French authorities wouldn't want to give the impression that France can't protect foreigners. It was the local prefect who banned the March in the city of Lourdes. If I were a resident of Lourdes I think that I would be tempted to walk the route of the procession on my own.

    I'm surprised at Julia's worrying about the growing numbers of Muslims in Europe considering how Britain is touted as the success story for integrating Muslims in comparison to Belgium and France which are blamed for not trying hard enough to integrate them.

    Dolours, I don't think France and Belgium have not tried hard enough to integrate a community who will never submit to integration. You can bring a horse to the water but you can't make him drink. Same with demons.

    I agree with you Julia. I'm just pointing out that the latest mantra from the pundits is that France and Belgium brought their troubles on themselves because they didn't do enough to accommodate the Muslims and help them settle in. The British commentators usually give themselves a pat on the back as they point the finger at France and Belgium. I read or heard (can't remember which) recently that the British security services actually have more surveillance powers than the French. That probably explains why there haven't been more successful Islamic terrorist attacks in the UK but it doesn't fit the narrative of how poor, marginalised Muslims are attracted to groups like ISIS.

    Julia, I think you might be surprised how many Christian Crusaders are "out-there" ready to come forward when they hear "The Call" ... even in Old Blighty and Deep Blue People's Democrat Republics!!

    Don't hold your breath, CrewDog, either for the Pope to make the rallying cry or any Deep Blue soldiers.

    I have a feeling that some of Hillary's emails could contain evidence of her giving assent to arming Islamists. I believe that those "Syrian Democratic Forces" that according to CNN are being backed by the US and are making great gains are the same ones that the BBC described as an alliance of Al Nusra and another Islamist group of rebels. Fareed Zakariah had on his programme a Norwegian convert to Islam who has made a film about jihadists. Basically, it was a discussion between two Muslims (Fareed and the Norwegian) explaining how some suicide bombers aren't really all that bad because they regard ISIS as uncivilised. Al Nusra are the Al Qaeda affiliate. Get ready to see them rehabilitated by the US media and the Deep Blue People's Democrat Republics, especially their "Catholics", will swallow it hook, line and sinker.

    The Pope would be crazy to to call for a Crusade. You and every other Catholic in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand who didn't renounce loyalty to the Pope would be in an internment camp before you had time to make the sign of the cross.

    Oh .... Dolours, I'm not thinking of a Pope orchestrated Crusade but Crusade at the local grassroots level ... county, town & neighborhood ... and survival until The Rescue.
