Our Lady of Fatima travels to Rome at the request of two Popes

No-one is required to believe in private revelation no matter how many saints, beati and venerabili say exactly the same thing and, as you say many revelations are conditional. However to take just one example, Lucia of Fatima said in 1961 "....Russia is the scourge chosen by God to punish mankind, if we by prayer and the sacraments do not obtain the grace of their conversion." As it has just been announced by the US religious research body Pew Research that only 17% of US Catholics attend weekly Mass (the situation being probably worse in Europe) it may be that there will be insufficient prayer and sacramental intervention for Russia. My money is on the saints!

 

Well this much I am certain of: Until the Pope official consecrates Russia (not the world, not China, not Africa etc..) to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and until the clergy and laity fulfill the First Saturday day's of reparation.... there is no chance of peace in the world and not chance that the aforementioned prophecies will not be fulfilled as SteveD has indicated.

Yes, America is post Christian. Yes, the cultural, social and moral standards have been and are being overthrown. But it did not happen/is not happening by accident. The coarsening, the desensitisation, the barbarisation is deliberate. The plan is, and always has been, that the nation must be destabilised completely. In order for that to happen the Catholic Church must be brought to naught. (they're right on track with that).

Anarchy must rule the day in order for the good people to give up and the takeover to be completed. The covert American Communists back in the McCarthy era were not moral people. They sowed these seeds of corruption in every facet of society, as part of a strategy. They succeeded and their successors continue to succeed. The problem for us Catholics is how to raise a family in a sewer? How to educate & protect the children & grandchildren? How to even have hope enough to continue to bring forth the next generation? How to feed those children when the economy has been destabilised to the extent that not even savings in a bank account are "safe" any more?

I probably can (and often am). I'll take a guess at what he was driving at: The overly politically-centered, military-oriented, American-patriotic bent, and modernistic, newsy tone to these "locutions". And, I suppose, the resultant expectation that America is the saving force for good we should expect.

I could be way off base, but just a guess based on my observations of same.

 

....especially when it seems increasingly apparent that our American government was founded by quite a few non-christian deists and outright occultist freemasons (some believe almost exclusively), who even fancied George Washington becoming a god....

 

I hope the Doves return...The Doves at Our Lady's Feet

What the Holy Father was referring to is the miracles that took place from 1946 to 1951 in the presence of this, what has become, the best known Sacramental in the world. Just like the original Portuguese Statue above, the doves followed this new statue all the way to the Americas and around the world. Robert Z. Saldvar "accompanied Our Lady's Statue on an American B-17 Heavy Bomber, flying it form Fatima to the United States Air Base at Terceira in the Azores some 400 miles west of Portugal.The doves would not be left in Fatima, but twelve of them actually flew to the Azores, and landed many hours after the plane, n order to be with their Lady! ... one of the four priests who carried her in procession ... added that they were perched in the carrier which was used to transport the statue in procession." In 1949 at Nicaragua, Fr. Salazar related, "The statue remained in and around our area for three days and nights. It was most noticeable that three doves remained constantly at the feet of Our Lady except for the time that they were fed. Furthermore, we witnessed the astonishing fact that two doves flew to the altar, one on each corner thereof, during the Consecration of the Mass and returned to their place on the pedestal ... at the end of Consecration. During the daily procession through the Port, neither band music nor fireworks would frighten the doves away." (The Wonders She Performs)

"On April 25, 1959 Padre Pio was rushed to the hospital with an illness that threatened his life... On August 5, 1959 the statue was taken into the chapel at San Giovannni Rotundo ... Just as Padre Pio got within several feet of the famed image, three white doves flew into the chapel to the base of the statue, and performed this maneuver a total of three times before finally resting at the base of the statue." It was at the Pisa in Italy that the doves started following the statue, which was carried to the 92 provincial capitals of Italy to prevent a Communist takeover.

In Rome in 1978 two doves stayed at the foot of the statue all day on May 1. "The following day, at St. John Lateran Basilica, while preparing for Mass, three doves flew out of the sky, and landed straight at the feet of the statue. Efforts to dislodge these went unsuccessful. Precisely at the Consecration, the doves flew up and perched on the arch above and to each side of the balcony. After communion they returned to Our Lady's feet, where they remained through the night. The next day they were still there when the Statue was transported back to St. John Lateran for another Mass. Again at the Consecration they left, and this time flew to the column capitals next to the sanctuary. This time they stayed there, as the statue was being taken on a flight to Vienna." How does it get worse than this?

The rampant persecution of Christians in Egypt by radical Islamists is devastatingly undeniable – nuns paraded through the streets, churches burned to the ground, Christians being murdered.
Yet, the White House has thus far been nearly silent. Then yesterday the White House was directly asked about this disturbing situation: “With people being killed, Christians in particular being targeted, churches being destroyed, what’s the President’s red line in Egypt?”
The White House’s official response was “Well, I didn’t bring my red pen out with me today.”
The room was silent – not a chuckle from a single journalist in the White House briefing room – dead silence.
But where is the outrage? Imagine if the White House had made a joke about violence in our schools? Yet, Egypt’s Christian children are dying.

It has to be said that Marti isn't the only one who has a big problem with Cardinal Bertone. As soon as you start doing any moderately serious research into a whole number of controversies within the Church over the last couple of decades, his name for some reason keeps cropping up in a way that requires explanation.

For those who can read Italian, try the following recent report - which has been relayed internationally as I first saw it in on a Brazilian site in Portuguese - dated August 16 alleging that Bertone has directly pressed Pope Francis to give him an ongoing role once he retires from the position of Secretary of State, namely the continued oversight of the commission responsible for the Vatican Bank.

The basic idea behind the article is that many Vatican insiders are shocked at the way in which Bertone has, they feel, been continuing to pursue a personal agenda since Pope Francis's election despite all the internal criticism of him during the pre-conclave period. What is being implied is that Bertone is in search of a position that will allow him to defend himself against his critics, presumably because if he is side-lined from any official role on the grounds of age it will be 'open season' against him.

Naturally the question arises as to the author Francesco Antonio Grana's sources of information within the Vatican (and having read Timothy Dolan's NCR interview with John Allen referenced here I think certain journalists may be over-interpreting his remarks about Pope Francis's managerial skills). It has however been no secret to anybody for several years now that a substantial number of senior Cardinals have long regarded Bertone's removal as imperative for the health of the Church, and that the level of open criticism by high-ranking prelates towards a sitting Secretary of State is quite exceptional.

Excellent as always. How about the last secretary of state, Sodano. When asked to resign he refused to leave his opulent Vatican offices (not to mention the corruption involving his nephew). How about Cardinals Casaroli and Cacciavillan. How about after Vatican 2 changing the second most powerful post in the vatican from doctrine of faith to secretary of state? Huh? Talk about apostasy and masonic infiltration! Smoke of satan?

Doesn't Glenn Beck want to bomb Syria with all those neocons? What about those 1 million Syrian refugees? Who cares about them? Who is responsible for this outrageous humanitarian disaster?
