This could be it. If Pope Francis would do this I would be his greatest fan ever.

 

The same day you experienced this I had an experience at prayer. Nothing like what you and Padraig described but it gave me great peace and joy. I was at Adoration right after Mass talking to Our Lord and somewhat u uncharacteristically He was "talking" back but I wasn't sure I wasn't making it all up and apologized to Him for that and it seemed He said "take and read" so I picked up the Bible and said a prayer to the Holy Spirit and opened it. It was the gospel of Luke "and He told them a parable that they must pray and not lose heart" and this is EXACTLY what I had been talking to Him about. Especially praying for PF. So I share this because I felt He was greatly encouraging all of us. It gave me great joy and that had stayed with me.

This happens to me all the time - it is Our Lord's way of confirming that it is Him speaking. Do not disregard it - thank Him for this great Grace! He wishes to speak to everyone, but so few listen to Him. If He doesn't speak audibly, then He speaks through others or through Scripture, etc. We need to train ourselves to pay attention, discern and trust. Our hearts will tell us when it is Jesus speaking to us. God bless you and don't forget to thank Him.

It was intended mostly for his brother Priests, but all the lay people who belong to the Marian Movement of Priests and those who had cenacles (as Our Lady requested) were sent copies of it. President Trump himself as a person , spiritually , I am suspicious of. we all need some kind of messach , messiah, but I would not rest a lot of hope on him. But at least he is off the track. But, no I don't really think he is a good person. In fact I think he is a very, very bad one.

You are absolutely free to your opinion, I am suspicious also. It is good to be on a better track but there is only one Messiah!

I like the "cat" because it appears that she is trying to expose the truth, hence the name - The Truth Factory.

In the places in which people have a say in who gets elected, unfortunately, I think it is very much a decision of who is "less of a crook".

It's very sad but that's where we're at.

 

I am not crazy about Trumps attitude as he comes off as quite sarcastic at times, but he is the most pro-life President we have ever had and has proven it by the people he has placed in positions of the government, so perhaps Our Lady's words to Sr. Mildred (Neuzil) are coming true due to the many prayer groups and Rosaries that are being prayed: "I desire to make the whole of America my shrine by making every heart accessible to the love of my Son." And again, "Beloved daughter, the United States is a small one among nations, yet has it not been said that 'a little child shall lead them'? It is the United States that is to lead the world to peace, the peace of Christ, the peace that He brought with Him from heaven in His birth as man in the little town of Bethlehem." So, just perhaps Our Lady is beginning to win against evil in this country. Do not be fooled by all the negative news, but know that there are many very prayerful people in this country who are very devoted to Our Lady and offer everything to Her. I am not saying that we won't suffer as a country because God knows we deserve it, but I also know that God wins in the end. So, pray for this country as we pray for yours and for evil to be crushed in our world. God bless you. Lynne

I don't think so. I am not so cynical. My heart won't lay itself to a crook on the principal of well. he is not so bad a crook of as the other guy. Nope my heart just won't do it.

I have such a love of America I am reminded of a an old film I watched during the summer which my heart leapt to..God can send us truly good men.

I fought for Ireland when I was young. I fought against the British as my father bid and my grand uncles and as the generations of Irish did going back for centuries.

we failed in this part of Ireland , you succeeded.


But you know one thought caused my conversion.

Imagine if in Ireland, as you succeeded in America of obtaining your freedom from Britain would that in itself make us free? No the only thing that really makes u free is our love for God.

That and that alone is what made America great and that i s what she has lost.

But still America is such a great, great country , I love her so very, very much ;I hold her so dear to my heart.

A great battle between good and evil is being fought there.

I am not certain if it is a matter of being cynical, I did use quotes for "less of a crook". I just can't think of a leader in theses times who I would call entirely admirable, then again I don't know all of the leaders of the world very well.

I watched the 5 hours worth of hearings of US Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday. He appears to be a man of true principal in my opinion, every attempt was made to "railroad" him but he stood his ground. It was a little sad to watch it all, I'm praying for him.

I think that he will continue to stand his ground and that is quite admirable.
