I couldn't get selenium anywhere. That's the main reason I bought the Redoxon. It helps that it also has the B vitamins. I remember buying the D spray but I must have lost it because it's not to be found anywhere in the house. I like these D 3,000 IU capsules because they're small and easy to swallow.
I don't think I've ever seen Brazil nuts sold here. Maybe they're in the supermarket and I didn't notice them.
I used to buy them in the English market in Cork but I remember I my mum bought them in Aldi once. I think they are quite common. Since I live in Brazil now, I can get them everywhere.
Yes, I’d eat them too if I wasn’t on a keto diet. I miss them because they taste good and they do provide a lot of nutrients. The keto diet is so carb restrictive to so many otherwise good fruits.
They aren’t cheap. About $5 for a small bag in the shell. I have seen them on Amazon for around $18 a pound. That is expensive but then again so are selenium vitamins.
This is good info. Elderberry is a standard ant oxidant supplement always recommended. Whe this all started in early 2020 I was taking it every day.
Lucky you. Bet you only have to sit outside for half an hour to get all the vitamin D you need. Lights on in our house around 4 p.m. The sun is that whitish disc that occasionally appears between the clouds in daytime. I'll be in the supermarket tomorrow and have a look for Brazil nuts. I've never tasted them. I recall eating walnuts in my childhood but you'd need a sledge hammer to break the shells.
