I have found that when you are getting points across on the internet it is better not to be too combative, people find it a big turn off. Also it riles other people off so that they too become combative and the truth becomes lost. People are no longer pursuing the truth but pursuing proving you are right and the other person is wrong. The real truth of when you get in kind of verbal gun fights people reach for the off switch. The very last thing anyone should wish for. In addition to this life being life someone out there is going to be smarter and better informed that you yourself are so that he who lives by the argument will, sooner of later unless they are a walking brain , perish by the verbal sword. The people who I have really come to admire on the internet are the gentle ones , the ones who don;t get riled and leave arguments that become too heated. In other words the one who are most closely like Our Blessed lady, gentle and loving. I am not a lot like this myself ,sadly, but I admire so much those people who are. I am better than I used to be still a long, long way off. But I so much admire those who can do this. In either case life is so very,very short. I fond myself more and more relishing silence and prayer.
All you can do is shoot down the ducks as they do a fly by. By the way my repeated posts are due to my dogs dancing on my keyboard. I am waiting for a new one, hence the electronic stutters.
Maybe a walnut... the real one is hard to crack. Honestly, nuts like these need patience, prayers and a touch of humility. I don't care much for the arrogance. . Praying for all who feel the need to argue Truth.
For the last few months I have been sleeping badly, very badly indeed and this resulted in bad migraine headaches. I was like Count Dracula , endless nights and sleepy days. On top of this I started getting trouble from everywhere , three supervisors at work and bad neighbours at home. But the last week or so suddenly out of nowhere I started sleeping like a lamb. I have not slept like this since childhood. In addition my troubles at work and at home simply went away. I find myself looking at the world around me as if I were a child again too. Staring at the beauty around me, taking great time to simply look at and enjoy thing sin peace and quiet. Who knows where such great graces come form? But I attribute it to others prayers so I thank you so much for this. I love this so much about the spiritual life, you never know where it will lead you. Thank you Jesus, thank you Mary. How beautiful is the Body of Christ, you are that Body. Corinthians 1:12 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
