Lots of people from Massachusetts and even New York have moved to Maine in recent years. I even saw articles saying New Yorkers fleeing the city after covid-19 have flooded the Maine real estate market. That's changing the voting patterns. Under Obama, a large number of people from Somalia were resettled in Portland, Maine!

I used to feel the same way and spent a lot of time thinking about the reasons people want abortions until I came across a priest who opened my eyes. Abortion isn’t legal because of medical issues, rape, or even because the population simply wanted it. Abortion was forced on our nation by the government through a made up “right to privacy” in the 14th amendment. The 14th amendment states “No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” After this atrocity was passed people were spoon fed lies to accept it. “It’s just a clump of cells.” “We care about women - safe, legal, and rare.” People’s hearts have hardened so much since that time that we now have politicians supporting 3rd trimester abortions and leaving babies that were born alive to die if the mother doesn’t want them or they have some sort of deformity. The longer we have abortion in this country the harder it will be to change hearts. I personally don’t think we can get there without changing the law first.

My understanding and research indicates that Russia was indeed the first country to legalize abortion in 1920 but on October 18th with the THE DECREE OF OCTOBER 18th, 1920 Which legalized abortion in the Soviet Union. Was Oct 5th when Lenin made a statement about the legalization of abortion? Or why Oct. 5th?
