I once heard Fulton Sheen say that tattoos reflected what was in the inside of a person. In otherwords a lack of spiritual life. True beauty is on the inside.

To me, the need to write on our bodies is a reflection of the desire to re-create ourselves in our own image instead of God's.

I am now middle aged, but since I was 14 years old, I have had recurring dreams about a tsunami wave or a series of waves hitting my home town, Timaru, on the East Coast of the South Island, New Zealand. In the dream, I am usually with other people, (sometimes I recognise them as people who were in my Parish or Community). Everyone, including myself, is struck with horror, running, having to escape from a towering wall of water - or sometimes there is more time & I am taking refuge with others in a building of height & watching with anguish as the sea level in front of me rises & threatens to inundate everything. Sometimes it is a series of waves that we can see are forming way out on the horizon and we know that the water is going to destroy everything when it arrives at shore. We are watching from a two storey building, hoping we will be safe.

The dreams are not identical but they are always set in the same location, i.e. my home town. That has struck me as strange, because in fact, I have not lived there since I was 17 years old, though I still have close family there & of course I visit there at times. The dreams come about once every 5 years or so & always leave me greatly disturbed and drained for days.

They have never seemed like ordinary dreams. They have always felt like a prophetic glimpse into the future of my homeland. Most people that I ever told, (really only my family) used to look at me blankly, as if to say "Tsunamis? We don't have those here." But that was before the 2004 Asian Tsunami & then the Japanese Tsunami. Now, people are more willing to admit the possibility that it could, in fact, happen to us.

There is no earthquake to forewarn us in my dreams, for example, we are all down at the Bay, celebrating our annual Summer Carnival, with Ferris Wheels & other carnival rides in operation, when the wall of water comes.[IMG]

In one of the more recent dreams, a man dressed in a Salvation Army uniform speaks to me and says that it is because our country has legalised prostitution that God is visiting this chastisement upon us.

In 2003, the Prostitution Reform Act was passed, which decriminalised prostitution in New Zealand. Now, I get solicited on my way to Mass at 7 a.m. on a residential street here in Christchurch & prostitutes solicit outside the Cathedral. There is really nowhere that is out of bounds for them.

Below is a Youtube about the effects of this disastrous law change in one NZ neighbourhood, Manurewa, in Auckland, North Island, NZ. (Incidentally, I was born in that neighbourhood.)

The recurring nature of the dream and its impact on you personally is I believe a warning from heaven.

This may not be caused by an earthquake but by an asteroid landing in the sea.

I feel a great pity of prostitutes they are really at the bottom of the heap. I would suspect that those who use them and those who exploit them may be much more culpable than these poor souls themselves.

I was in a Red Light district of Amsterdam a few years ago. The poor women stood in front of red lighted large windows like shops dancing with almost no clothes on displaying themselves. I held out a pair of rosary beads towards them and they gathered round laughing.

But the next day in the Church I prayed for God to give me a soul to cheer me up and an elderly man came in, I met him at the door, he hadn't been in Church for over thirty years but said he, 'Felt compelled' to enter.

A few years ago Amsterdam closed down its red light legal district because of public demand. :) Its alright for these 'Liberals' with their high brow notions they don't have to live near these things which bring all kind of evils, drug dealing, violence, exploitation organised gangs.....

But as for the women themselves such a great pity.

Fabulous dream, reading it gave me a lot of hope and Joy. I know two people close to me who have really ugly tattoos but nearly every time I meet them I seem to be a situation where I am talking to them about God, and they seem to listen. There is much hope for tattooed people, I hope.

Lvmena I would pray hard and ask St Philomena to intercede for you to Christ so that he may speak to you in scripture regarding your dream

    PRAYER TO SAINT MARY MAGDALENE
    Saint Mary Magdalene,
woman of many sins, who by conversion
    became the beloved of Jesus,
    thank you for your witness
    that Jesus forgives
    through the miracle of love.

You, who already possess eternal happiness in His glorious presence,
please intercede for us and ask Jesus to wipe the sin of prostitution and its vices from our world,

so that some day we may share in the same everlasting joy.
    Amen.

    Thanks, will do that. (y)

The first time I had the dream, way back in 1976/ 1977, there was one person there at the Bay Carnival scene whom I recognised. In reality, I only knew her very slightly, she was in fact my mom's contemporary, and she did not have significance in my day to day life, as far as I could see. She was part of our parish, and her name was Mrs. Greenwood. She and her family lived about a block away from us and we went to school with her children. Other than these connections, there was no reason why she should be the one person in my dream who I recognised in the crowd of families enjoying the entertainments.

However, God gives us symbolic keys to interpret. I now believe that her surname, "Greenwood", holds the key to interpreting her presence in the dream.

Luke 23: 31 - "For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?"

The context of this verse is that it is preceded by the following:

"But Jesus, turning to them, said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!' "Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!" '* For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?"

In 1976, the wood was still green in my country. Abortion was illegal, homosexual acts were illegal, Prostitution was illegal. Pornography was kept in brown paper bags behind the counter at the local store. In NZ, as far as the law of the land went, it all began to change, in 1977. Abortion then became publicly funded with tax dollars - yours and mine. We are materially co-operating, albeit against our will.

why do you think it changed in 1977?

Hi Julie - what I meant was that in 1977, the Law changed in NZ - the Contraception Sterilisation & Abortion Act was passed into law on 15 December, 1977, so it was a watershed event, like Roe V Wade was for America in 1972.

"After the Contraception, Sterilisation and Abortion Act 1977, certifying consultants had to agree that physical or mental health made abortion necessary, but hospital boards set up abortion clinics, and had to fund lawful abortions. "

"And if we accept that the mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? … This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.” & "A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope" - Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Homosexual acts were decriminalised in 1986.

Prostitution was made legal in 2003.

The Civil Union Act was passed in to Law in 2004, allowing same sex couples to enter in to a union which was legally recognised, but not termed "marriage", the Act also allowed heterosexual couples to enter in to a sort of union which did not have to be "marital" exactly, but would be legally recognised.

"Gay" marriage became legal as of 17th April 2013, and the first legally recognised Homosexual "marital' Unions will be taking place in our country this month. (19th August.)

So what's next? Assisted suicide, euthanasia, then most likely the decriminalisation of every aberrant sexual act known to man.

Certainly there was immorality in NZ society prior to 1977, I did not mean to imply there was not, but once it is enshrined in to Law, we are then placing ourselves under a covenant curse.

"I set before you life and death, a blessing and a curse. Choose life, therefore, that you and your descendants may live."

In my opinion, that is when the bankers /zionists (at the top stan's power=they make the money) and the masons=goyim sellouts) gained control of your country.

An interesting article leads today on Spirit Daily, Picadillo et al; http://theinternetpost.net/2013/07/19/the-federal-reserve-cartel-the-eight-families-2/

    It's long, but sobering.

Probably it is not prudent for me to say more about the political scene here because it has become apparent that everything we do & say & read & write is being watched & I will be branded a subversive.

Up until the legislation was passed in 1977, if a woman was determined to procure and abortion, it was necessary to fly to Australia in order to do so. Following that, within the space of about 10 years, it became possible to simply go to a GP and get a prescription for the morning after pill.

I know a few people who in their younger and foolish years got tattoos. They regret it now but in a way it reminds them of their mistake. Who knows maybe God allowed this and it is a constant sign for them. I know for me, it reminds me not to be judgmental of who and what makes up the person

Reading this article about Church sponsored tattoo removal reminded me of this dream you had a while back.
