Riding home from my very first Midnight Mass ever...It was so beautiful!! My oldest son served and the younger 3 slept through most of it, but my 3 year old woke up just long enough to sing Silent Night then drop right back off to sleep. Have a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
So many at Mass on Christmas Eve they ran out of communion and I was one of the ones who did not receive. May God Bless all on the forum and may the Peace of Christ this Christmas day touch all our lives, all whom we love and all whom we know.
A blessed holy peaceful Christmas to all our dear MOG family and especially blessing for Padraig who has made our gathering possible.
I went to the Children’s Mass last night. We have been fogged in the last few days. Like the song from Rudolf the red nosed reindeer “then one foggy Christmas Eve” … it was packed! We had two Priests. Our Franciscan Priests are Hispanic and they taught the children to say Feliz Navidad This morning the sun is shining the fog has gone. This speaks volumes to those that take notice. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas All! Just thinking now of the joy of our Mother as she and Joseph watched over the newborn King
Nice! I often tell my parents to send donations and bills electronically (my mom writes out checks and mails them - this seems so bizarre to my millennial self - it's like writing something on vellum and signing it with your signet ring and sending it with a pigeon). In case you're unaware and would like to avoid this stress in the future, it looks like there's a donate button on their website here (you can specify regions) - https://www.svp.ie/northern-ireland/
