I am rereading a very Spiritual Prayerful little book at the moment from a Spiritual Son of Padre Pio which you would like (if you haven't already read it). It is by a guy called Adolpho who was under the saints Direction from he was about 19. Every time he met the saint there seemed to be the most astonishing supernatural occurences. So much so they are pretty well everyday. I think most of his rosaries were for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. He seemed to say them pretty well non stop; any chance he got. (there are some really beautiful photes of the saint in this, ones I have not seen anywhere else).
You know one time the Vatican brought in a rule that Padre Pio had to say his Mass at 4am hoping no one would come. Thee people used to queque from 3am to get in. Standing room only? Can you imagine?
Oh the faith of our fathers! May our fathers perseverance in faith and their penitential love of Jesus, be a strengthening and invigorating grace to our tortured and weak faith, may the graces they wrought keep us focused on truth, who is Jesus Himself!, especially as we navigate these openly apostate times. Amen Oh Mary Most Holy, conceived without sin, be our advocate and mediatrix, and by your intercession please implore God to shorten this current tribulation. Amen
Well, my beautiful wife has finished assembling my 7-Sorrows Rosary including on it a Miraculous Medal and a memento from our 1987 journey to Medjugorje! So now both Rosaries will daily weave their way into my heart. It is fascinating that on the Traditional and the 7-Sorrows Rosary that one alternately focuses on first the joy and then the sorrow experienced at the Presentation in the Temple. Since this also reminds me of the Baptisms of our children, the profound depths of peering into Mary's Immaculate Heart really strikes home. Thank you, Geralyn, my Mavornen, for all you do for me! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
