It's about time the Republican Party had a female Conservative leader people can look up to: "Strong girls become strong women, strong women become strong leaders. I promise I’ll keep working hard to make you proud!" https://twitter.com/NikkiHaley/status/1755422700594409695

Article that Governor Haley posted: "It was the summer of Barbie, Taylor Swift and Beyonce. Girls ran the world, and girlhood was celebrated with friendship bracelets and pink merchandise galore. This version of “girlhood” has made its way into the political sphere with young girls and women flocking to see Nikki Haley, placing her as the newest women figure of this niche."

If Republicans actually want to beat Biden, rather than just complain about him, Haley's the Best Bet imo given the General Election Polling.

Does anyone know who former Vice President Mike Pence will support in the primaries?

Xavier, you are claiming the so-called insurrection of January 6 was caused by and supported by Trump. This has not been proven.

I think the Deep State laid a trap for Donald Trump and his followers, and they fell into that trap. I told my friends who were planning to go not to go, that it would not end well. Some did, some didn't. Finally, it didn't end well. Trump is not blameless, because people are suffering in Prison because of him. Trump also used words that can very well be interpreted as violent revolt like "fight like mad". Trump led his followers down this march, and he's partly responsible for the calamities that followed. I think the Next President should pardon peaceful J6 protesters, and Haley probably will do that. Trump could have pardoned J6 protestors up until J20, but he chose not to do so. But the whole mess is Trump's fault, because he incited the entire protest. Based on the false claim that he allegedly lost the election, which he did not want to challenge peacefully in the courts. The courts threw his cases out. Even Conservative Jurists. That's because he never had a case and he knew it. Don the Con is one of the best con-men ever, and has many good people conned imo. He had no business doing what he did in the days up until J6, and in the aftermath of the same. But then Don-the-Con only cares about himself.

I think he will support Haley, because he knew Trump lost, and Trump's behavior has been bad since J6. He even jeopardized the safety of Mike Pence, his wife and his family, because of his false claims, as though it was Pence's fault - who had been loyal to a fault before then - that Trump lost the election.

Whenever something goes wrong for Donald Trump, it can never be Donald Trump's fault. It has to be someone else's. If Trump lost the election, it can't be because he was too divisive and drove too many voters away. He lost by some 7 MN votes and some 75 Electoral College Seats, roundly defeated in virtually every demographic. You don't have big losses like that without losing. But admitting he lost would require humility, contrition, introspection. Qualities he does not possess and does not want to learn. Yes, God used him anyway while he was in office, agreed, but the anointing has passed imo, and God could have done greater things with other candidates. J6 would never happened with a candidate other than Donald Trump. So yes, it is his fault. Anyone has the right to peacefully protest or peacefully file legal challenges. No one has the right to do what Don-the-Con did before J6. He is a con-man.

Just a comment, maybe it will be a Nikki Haley vs Michelle O'Bama ticket. js . . .God took Trump out of office according to MY Dream. I'm
not sure he has repented so he can get back in. My thoughts for the day.

Yes, I've had similar spiritual experiences that convinced me the same, God kept Trump out of office, he lost the anointing etc. Also that he is not the right candidate, therefore imo (this bit is my personal conclusion), it must be Nikki. Let's see how it goes, I think Nikki Haley will win, be it Biden, M. Obama, Kamala Harris or whoever else the lib dems choose. Multiple Polls reveal she crushes Biden and is very popular with Dems and Inds, and fairly with Repubs. She is able to articulate conservative policies in a reasonable way, including even on Abortion, and thus will likely grow the Republican Base.

Supreme Court Likely to Restore Donald Trump’s Ballot Eligibility (msn.com)
Supreme Court Likely to Restore Donald Trump’s Ballot Eligibility

WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court appeared likely to reject an attempt to remove Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot, with justices across the ideological spectrum suggesting Thursday that Congress and not individual states must set the standards before a presidential candidate can be disqualified for engaging in insurrection.

Colorado’s Supreme Court, invoking a constitutional provision enacted after the Civil War, barred Trump in December from the state’s presidential ballot after finding he engaged in insurrection by inciting his followers to attack the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to stop certification of President Biden’s victory in the November 2020 election. Trump appealed, and the U.S. Supreme Court expedited its proceedings ahead of Colorado’s March 5 primary election.

“If Colorado’s position is upheld, surely there will be disqualification proceedings on the other side,” said Chief Justice John Roberts, suggesting a cycle of partisan retaliation by states across the country. “A goodly number of states will say, whoever the Democratic candidate is, you’re off the ballot. And others for the Republican candidate, you’re off the ballot.”
    ---
The Democrats are trying everything to keep Republicans from voting for their selected candidate. I'm glad the Supremes are stopping this nonsense, it should be the voter's will, not some yoyo state official.

It seems to this outsider that the Democrats have a stranglehold on education and academia, leading to an inevitable dominance of the products of that system, such as the legal and other professions. The Democrats also seem to dominate the United States public service and therefore wield excessive control over judges and prosecutors. Thus, the attempts to stop Trump and also to try and find him guilty of various crimes and misdemeanours are very obviously politically partisan. Ask oneself if all these court cases would be happening if Trump was now politically inactive. My first reaction to hearing of Donald Trump's most unexpected (according to the mainstream media and the pollsters), victory in 2016 was to say to my wife that 'they'll shoot him'. I'm quite surprised they haven't.

I do agree with you that Michelle Obama will be the Democrat nominee. They will keep Joe Biden in long enough to deepen discouragement. But at the Democratic Convention, Michelle Obama will emerge producing a huge ground swell of enthusiasm and momentum toward Election Day.

You are so right, the Biden White House is in total disarray, not just because it is obvious that President Biden is having mental issues, but because a recent Special Counsel report from his own department of Justice had officially stated that even though Biden did remove documents from his time as Vice President and Senator and brought them to his home, they will not prosecute because the president is too forgetful and can't remember because he is elderly and feeble to withstand any further adjudication.

Biden willfully withheld classified docs but will not be charged, special counsel says | PBS NewsHour

"...Robert Hur, in this case, said that he chose not to bring charges in part because — this is from his report — "Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview with him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory." o_O

Trump swept the votes in South Carolina, Nikki's home state.

South Carolina Primary Results 2024: Live Election Map | Races by County - POLITICO

In another world, a one-on-one shot with Donald Trump in her home state would have been just what Nikki Haley needed to notch her first victory of the primaries. But Trump won a blowout victory, with the race called before a single vote was even tallied.

Of the 50 delegates, Trump got 47, Haley 3.
