Some allies are warning Trump, and Kennedy is suddenly pressing the issue. Here’s what we can say."

    Washington Post article.

Trump needs to moderate his positions at the least.

He is liberal on the Vax and becoming more liberal on abortion. It remains to be seen if he will.

"Donald Trump let off a panic in some of the more extreme corners of his base last week during President Biden’s State of the Union.

Trump’s offense? Taking credit for the coronavirus vaccines that Biden hailed.

Alex Jones threatened to go on the “warpath” if Trump kept it up. Michael Flynn agreed with Jones’s plea for Trump to stop. And Charlie Kirk chimed in among his fellow right-wing influencers with a warning of electoral peril for Trump."

Trump lost by some 7 MN votes and 75 electoral college seats last time around, without a credible Independent Candidate. Let's see if he can get the votes he needs this time around. Many die-hard vaccine Conservatives may choose RFK over him.

I understand the quandary with which we are faced. But at my personal judgment when I stand before Our Lord, I must gaze upon Him Who is Holy, and declare I have followed my conscience as best I was able. The election is ultimately in the Hands of God.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

    Lord have Mercy!

My conscious will not let me vote for either of the two most prominent candidates. More lives have been lost due to the actions or inactions of each of these men than any war has cost us. Somehow, I believe that the “lesser of two evils” argument will not bide well with Our Lord.

Somehow, yes, I agree with you that He does not waffle and that the “lesser of two evils” is waffling.

Yes, I think "lesser of two evils" is not the right principle. A better and more Catholic principle is "Principle of Double Effect". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principle_of_double_effect

Under lesser evils, let's say Candidate A favored Abortion until 25 weeks, and Candidate B until 28 weeks. Lesser Evils reasoning will ultimately lead to voting for Candidates both of whom are putting forward evil policy proposals, with the Left, and Leftist appeasing Republicans going further and further.

"Principle of Double Effect" is more like attempting to achieve a good effect at the outset: e.g. saving at least 10% of Babies Lives by a National Abortion Ban, and putting pressure on the candidates to commit to one. And in PDE, sometimes a negative "double effect" may be there but "the good effect outweighs the bad effect in circumstances sufficiently grave to justify causing the bad effect and the agent exercises due diligence to minimize the harm"

PDE is a Catholic and Thomistic Principle. Ideally, unlike lesser of two evils, PDE will push things back in the correct direction, of stricter abortion bans.

I don't know where to put it, so I'll go to the "political" topic...

The allegedly perverse image of French President Macron, who is otherwise Rockefeller's puppet, is even worse in the end. Not only did he marry a teacher 20 years his senior and date her when he was 15, which is pure pedophilia, but she is allegedly the transvestite Jean-Michel Trogneux by media report...

The same was said about Michelle Obama...

When you look at it realistically. All those films about secret societies where future leaders are actually chosen in well-guarded houses where the elite gather and where there is allegedly a trade in children who serve as sex slaves (Epstein's Island), pedophilia, gay relationships, and even ritual murders are increasingly proving to be accurate.

I’m sorry, I meant PDE, not lesser of two evils.

"Mike Pence will not endorse for president Donald Trump, the man he served as vice-president for four years but whose supporters chanted for Pence to be hanged as they attacked Congress on January 6.
“It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year,” the former Indiana governor and former candidate for the Republican presidential nomination told Fox News on Friday."

Under-appreciated Mike Pence was responsible for many of the good things of the Trump-Pence administration. But just because he couldn't agree that Trump was actually "cheated", Trump put Pence's life in danger. Not good. Remains to be seen if Trump will choose a Pro-Life Conservative VP this time.

Donald Trump is looking for a running mate who isn’t motivated by the limelight, but who will help give him a measurable edge in the race against President Joe Biden. Reports say he could pick Indian-American politician Tulsi Gabbard."

    Wiki: "
    Abortion
Gabbard has generally supported legal abortion through the first 20 weeks of pregnancy,[176][177] though her views on abortion have changed over time.

When young, Gabbard opposed abortion. She changed her views on abortion (along with her views on LGBTQ issues) during her military experience in Iraq, seeing "the destructive effect of having governments ... act as moral arbiters for their people".[129][178][179]

During her early years in Congress, Gabbard had a 100% voting record with both Planned Parenthood and NARAL,[180] "

I think something we should think about is how many people were praying for Trump when he first ran for president, vs. how many are praying for him now. He is such a flawed man, what God did with him for the pro-life cause the first time around must have been an answer to prayer. That was the first time there was an organized, nationwide 54-day rosary novena for the election, and I wonder if the enthusiasm for such storming of Heaven has died down now. Trump was never our savior, it was always God and His grace. If we stormed Heaven again, instead of looking around at flawed politicians and concluding there's no hope, what could God do for us this time around?

Sure, let's storm Heaven more than ever and pray and hope for the best, but I don't think Trump is the best channel for those prayers. I would have preferred a ticket like DeSantis/Reynolds, both extremely conservative Pro-Life Governors who signed 6 week Heartbeat Abortion Bans. Meanwhile, Trump called those Pro-Life Bills a terrible thing. Last time, Trump deliberately made overtures toward Evangelicals, by nominating Pence, and toward Catholics by extension. This time around, ever since 2022, he's been blaming abortion for his candidates getting defeated, even though Pro-Lifers like DeSantis won in 2022. His VP choice will make his intended direction more clear. God can still do all things, so by all means let's pray. But I personally think it will likely have to be 2028 now, and Conservatives will have to rally around the more Conservative Pro-Life Candidate earlier in the Primary. The choice was clear this time, especially with Trump's "terrible thing" remarks. Let's see what God does. God Bless.
