I believe I will be morally culpable for not voting against Biden. In an election where there are no saints, but one is actively working to advance evil, I can't in good conscience just allow him to move forward unimpeded so I can say I never voted for an imperfect person. I couldn't care less if Trump is president for any other reason... In a race of him vs. Biden, I would only be voting for Trump to prevent the most possible damage being done to the pro-life cause. Biden wants the right to abortion enshrined in our constitution. I cannot in good conscience sit home and not vote against that. But I understand both points of view. I hope that good Christians won't be judging each other over this, because both sides are trying to do what they believe to be right.
"Bill Gates ask the Danish government to support DTP vaccination of 161 million African children… Gates claimed it was saving 30 million lives, so the Danish government asked for the data, of which Gates had none… So they went to Africa and looked at 30 years of DTP data. What they found was “SHOCKING”… Girls injected with the DTP vaccine were dying at 10 times the rate of those who weren’t vaccinated" https://twitter.com/Resist_05/status/1767428854220726513 So "compassionate", Gates is. Anyway, above is an RFK video. Robert Kennedy also said some time ago that he would support a 3 month or 12 week abortion ban, which Trump hasn't yet committed too, though his liberal campaign shortly after that backtracked: "Mr. Kennedy, who is running for president as a Democrat, said that he would sign a ban after three months’ gestation, but his campaign quickly reversed his comments." https://www.nytimes.com/2023/08/14/us/politics/rfk-jr-abortion-ban.html Yeah, yeah, Trump's probably better than Biden. But given his attacking 6 week heartbeat bills which Gov DeSantis and others signed (and DeSantis was Conservative on both Abortion and Vaccines), it's an open question how far he'll go as President. Will he sign a 12-13 week federal ban if he can? I think Social Conservatives should pressurize Trump to promote and support pro-life policies, not call them as "a terrible thing ... a terrible mistake", like he did with the 6 week heartbeat bill. By those statements, he also probably revealed that at most something like a 12-15 bill is all Pro-Lifers can hope for. So, forget about Real Abolition of Abortion under Trump. At most, a 15 week bill. Still better than nothing, I suppose, and better than Biden. But very little, all told, can be expected in the next 4 years now. And even that is only if Trump actually beats Biden. I think it won't be in 2024 and it won't be Trump - it'll have to be a future President who actually Abolishes Abortion.
What grieves me now is that Trump supports abortion up through 15 weeks which means he supports 90% of performed abortions in the USA. For me, it's a roadblock I can't circumvent. For me, the following verse also speaks of the incomparable value of each and every unborn child. 5 Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. And even the verse below references the grief each guardian angel who had been assigned to one of these sacrificed little ones must feel. 10 See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Poor Pope Benedict; they say he will be declared a Saint and Doctor of the Church one day. I hope he did not suffer too much after his retirement in the Vatican. Those heretics hated him more than rat poison. I believe Adoro te Devote was the last thing St Thomas Aquinas wrote before his death. Pope Benedict would have loved this, mind and heart combined in a hymn of praise.
We are presently living in a spiritual war as described by Ephesians 6: 12 12For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. And we must actively participate as stated in Ephesians 6:11 11Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. And this armour as Our Lady has told us, is to pray the rosary, repent and confess our sins, fast and do penance. But most importantly, we must Trust God's plan...
Abortion reportedly a top concern for Trump, but not really in a good way. He's reportedly concerned with choosing a VP as liberal on abortion as possible. Doesn't sound good, and looks more like he's preparing to sell out Conservatives than anything, but let's see. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/abortion-trump-vp-pick-rcna142264 "Abortion is a top concern for Trump as he considers his VP pick Former President Donald Trump has been laser-focused on the abortion views of his potential running mates, viewing the issue as a potential vulnerability for Republicans. PALM BEACH, Fla. — Last month at Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump was dining on the outdoor patio, engaging in his regular habit of stopping by the tables of club members and talking about whatever issue was top of mind. On this day, the GOP’s challenges on the issue of abortion became the focus when a member brought up the midterm elections and the hit Republicans took over reproductive rights. According to a source who was present, the member told Trump to pick a running mate who isn’t too hard-line on the issue. Trump then began making the rounds polling his dinner guests about abortion and the veepstakes. In particular, he asked the diners — who included his campaign aides and club members — what they thought of the vocal anti-abortion-rights views of Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina. Would they turn off voters? According to two sources close to Trump, including the person at the dinner, Trump has been laser-focused on the abortion issue, especially when it comes to his vice presidential pick. He sees it as the one major advantage for Democrats and a vulnerability for Republicans. “The president understands it as a treacherous issue — one that you can actually trip up and fall on your face with,” said the source, a person familiar with his thinking. The person added that Trump would most likely not risk picking “someone with a six-week ban in their discussions or someone without any commitment on the exceptions.” In addition to Scott, the second source said, Trump has been asking about where other potential vice presidential contenders stand on abortion, specifically naming Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida. “He’s concerned it will have a drag on the ticket if they’re seen as holding too staunch a position,” the person said.
I think you are correct. I have been told by a priest that we have a moral duty to vote. When all candidates are for abortion, we must vote for the one who will do the least damage.
More Human Embryos Destroyed Through IVF Than Abortion Every Year The Catholic Church opposes IVF because it separates the marriage act from procreation and destroys embryonic human life. https://www.ncregister.com/cna/more-human-embryos-destroyed-through-ivf-than-abortion-every-year
This is very critical! It’s very sad. I also read that the abortion pill, which many women use, sends human remains and medical waste through the toilet. It’s so completely evil and I hope and pray God intervenes soon.
