I am shaking my head in sadness. Most humble of heart, our gracious Queen pray for us who have recourced to thee.
I thought they were very busy and short of funds? They must have plenty of time on their hands if they sit listening to his drivel. And they have too much money to spare if they can afford to fly him across the Atlantic. I'll be having another look at my contributions to the Share collection.
Lifesite are reporting this secret meeting with the Irish Bishops has already happened. I am perplexed by Robert Nugents response to his prayer that he is not to be an agent of division. Does that mean we should not talk about this or let others know what's happening. I find most Catholics know nothing about what is going on.

James Martin addresses Irish bishops in private meeting at Marian Shrine A trusted source in Ireland told LifeSiteNews that the meeting included discussions on how to implement the blessing of homosexual 'couples' and even the desire to implement homosexual 'marriage.' Wed Jan 31, 2024 - 3:46 pm EST Listen to this article 0:00 / 2:17 BeyondWords KNOCK, Ireland (LifeSiteNews) — The Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference has been addressed today by heterodox Jesuit priest Fr. James Martin in the Marian Shrine of Knock, Co. Mayo, where Our Lady appeared to villagers in 1879. The conference had not made any statement on the matter at the time of publication, nor responded to requests for comment from LifeSiteNews, but it is understood that at least one bishop privately expressed reservations about hosting the dissident Jesuit. A trusted source in Ireland told LifeSiteNews that the meeting included discussions on how to implement the blessing of homosexual “couples” and even the desire to implement homosexual “marriage.” A notoriously pro-LGBT member of the Dicastery for Communications, Martin has enjoyed increasing papal favor despite his longstanding record of promoting LGBT ideology in dissent from Catholic teaching. He has also promoted an image drawn from a series of blasphemous, homoerotic works showing Jesus Christ as a homosexual, promoted same-sex civil unions, and described viewing God as male as “damaging.” Fr. Martin was among many LGBT “Catholic” activists to praise the Vatican’s recently released Fiducia Supplicans document as a not-so tacit endorsement of homosexual relationships, with many modernist commentators and clergy chiding prelates and priests who recognize the declaration as an outright attack on truth, undermining Scriptural authority and the magisterium of the Church. The document was also welcomed by Archbishop of Dublin Dermot Farrell in early January, who indicated in his statement that priests should not refuse to bless homosexual couples or those in sexual relationships outside of marriage. Today’s meeting took place in Ireland’s most famous shrine, Knock, where, along with Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist and the Lamb of God appeared in a silent apparition to 15 poor villagers on 21 August, 1879. That evening marked the conclusion of 100 Masses being offered for the Holy Souls in Purgatory by local priest Archdeacon Bartholomew Cavanagh.
This is how the Devil spits on Our Blessed Mothers Face, by having this happen at a Marian Shrine. As to the Irish Bishops themselves....well I'll write nothing, it would be incharitable. But Zero confidence. Zero trust. Zero. Zero. Zero.
Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh. St Matthew 18:7
Having that bunch as defenders of the Faith is akin to bringing a knife to a gunfight. Why couldn't they invite Cardinal Muller to preach on the 'impossibility' and 'blasphemy' of what James Martin and Touchy Fernandez propose?
So, will the abomination of desolation be implemented in Ireland first and not in Germany, as many of us had hoped? If this happens, I think it reinforces the role of this forum as a work predestined by God to strengthen the faith of Irish Catholics at this terrible time. In fact, it reminded me of Saint Patrick's prophecy about the flooding of Ireland.
We Irish are a peculiarly weak people. We are, as our history shows, easily dominated. We were under the thumb of the English for many centuries and those Irish who emigrated were generally all too eager to embrace the zeitgeist of the countries that received them. We are a nation obsessed with gaining international approval, whether it be in sport, the Eurovision Song Contest or taking the correct, woke political stance on controversial issues. We like to be on the side that's seen to be winning and to be seen to do so. We are the original and ultimate virtue-signallers. I hope it's fair to say that those of us from Ireland who come on here don't belong in this virtue-signalling category. We might need moral support and encouragement in the near future.
I think there is a rumour going round that papa Frankie is to enforce the Abominable Sodomite blessing acceptance on lay folk But I don't see how he could do this. So I take it all with a grain of salt
He could make an ex cathedra statement, but he has refrained from doing this on anything. Even if he did, there would be chaos, considering that even the Dutch bishops objected to the sodomy document.
That's the devil's horns gesture that Martin is making with both hands, at the start of the video. Combined with the peculiar expression on his face, I find it quite disturbing.
In terms of the response of the faithful to this crisis, this really looks like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. I am on Robert's side on this. Some are saying this is 'inviting the devil in'. I say, this is not inviting the devil in. He will be in whether we like it or not. This is saying to him, 'do your worst!', we have Christ and are we up for the battle. We must preserve unity. The centre can hold and it will hold until we are granted a new dispensation.
Welcome Robert, great you are here. I met you two years ago at an outdoor Rosary in Knock in the pouring rain. It was very powerful and a time when the country was really on its knees. Welcome. Glad you are a Garabandal fan as well.
