    Roger,
Thank you for the peek preview of your latest video. I look forward to it.

God is indeed merciful to the weak and contrite!

My whole life exemplifies the weak! Yet God in His unbounded Mercy calls me, and He does this with such tender longings, that reduce me to tears through most of my daily prayers. Even when praying the Glorious mysteries of the rosary, for heavens sake!

I tend to be able to find in each Mystery so much to be sorrowful about! Maybe this means I need some sort of psychiatric help...... Not.

Take for instance the first Glorious Mystery, the Resurrection; sometimes I am in tears and sorrow recalling to mind the Most Blessed Virgins encounter with Her Risen son the God Man and How happy He would have been to embrace her, His Mum, the masterpiece of God creation, and how dearly Our Lady must have embraced her son and adored God at this encounter!

At the Ascension, I can also be found in tears, considering Our Lords farewell to His mother and Our Lady farewell to her son, so much sorrow and sadness yet this sorrow is also part of our redemption!

    How great is Gods goodness!

He Gives us glimpses of His Majestic beauty here on earth, (the transfiguration) so we can contemplate the wonders He has instore for us in heaven but more especially, He does this, so that we can carry our cross with commitment!

Oh Sacrament Most Holy Oh Sacrament Divine,
All praise and all Thanksgiving be every moment Thine!

    Beauty . . .

And I can't help wondering, Josephite, if your Australian roots are Irish?

Anyway, here is my video with three hours on everything from the glorious Legion of Mary to the not so glorious Bob Geldof—as well as the GAFA-isation/McDonald-isation of Ireland.

Also on France's Catholic Zombies, back from the dead.

(In France, the term has been taken up as a “badge of honour”, after initially being a term of abuse by the French Left, alarmed by Catholicism rising from the dead.)

Brief guide to the video: the first half is more about Globalism with a lot about Ireland and also France.

The second half though is mainly about Ireland.

As a non-Irish person living in Ireland, it is not easy to speak about this.

Still, I speak as both a British (and American by birth) person, living in Ireland by the mercy of God, who believes the progressive culture of the post-Protestant Anglo-American world has a lot to answer for in terms of Ireland:

I haven't as yet watched this Roger, but hopefully tomorrow I will get the time. As a btw, my roots are above 80% Irish catholic from the penal colon, and my Nan (who instilled my faith) was a living Irish saint, in my eyes!
She would smile and say, Let us praise God for all things!

Pray I might post something here—though I've not been active here for a long time. This has nothing to do with the forum, for which I have true, great appreciation and respect!

Truly . . . the Irish piety that touches me so deeply is present here in a way maybe unlike anywhere on the Internet!

No, I've just become very, very reclusive lately. Like a hermit. Finding all social media difficult.

But I've come out of my Co. Tyrone "Hermitage" because of a video about my sheer LOVE for this country, this people who have given me more than I can possibly say.

Without Ireland and the Irish, I know I would be a far lesser person!

As I wrote of the video elsewhere:

This video actually comes in two versions. A "Short Version" or "Extended Preview" is out now. A "Long Version" (Three Hours) I pray to God will be out for the feast of the great Patrick tomorrow. I won't say more now ... working like a dog to get it ready for tomorrow. I honestly think it is one of the two most important videos I've done so far ... certainly closest to my heart. Here is the "Short Version".

Thank you. I will take tine for long version this evening. My grand parents were born in Tyrone … sadly no relatives left there. I’m hoping to visit again in September this year.
As I said on ST Patrick’s thread, thus day while certainly a celebration causes me to reflect about my heritage and the love of my ancestors with gratitude for instilling the faith into me. I pray I can do same with my children and now my own grandchildren

    WOW!

That is very beautiful indeed. Thank you.

(Also I find myself wondering which dialect she's singing it in? I wish I could learn at least some of the language. I've picked it up and tried a few times but never got far, alas.)

All right, first my gratitude for the kind comments here and truly astouunding response, in general, to the "Short Version" (dozens of incredible comments, nearly 4000 views, over a 100 new subscribers etc.) .

Maybe some of you helped with that, commented etc. If so, I really thank you!

Here now is the three-hour "Long Version":

She is singing in Irish translation of the song below, also if you are wanting to use the Irish language I would suggest learning the Hail Mary and Our Father in Irish that way you will be off to a great start.

Sé mo laoch mo ghile mear
    Bonnie boy, ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
In this land, this land unfree
Ooh who will fein to unchain me
My children keyed in vain for thee
To break my chains for liberty
'Sé mo laoch mo ghile mear
    Bonnie boy, ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
    Mountains high, and valleys low
The cuckoo sings of Saxon foe
'Tis you must strike the mortal blow
Mo ghile mear, mo buachaill beo
'Sé mo laoch mo ghile mear
    Bonnie boy, ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
So come my love to battle come
To this fair land so weary sung
Let harp and song the valleys hum
And sound the sound of freedom's drum
'Sé mo laoch mo ghile mear
    Bonnie boy, ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
'Sé mo laoch mo ghile mear
    Bonnie boy, ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
'Sé mo laoch mo ghile mear
    Bonnie boy, ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
You will be my gallant star
Oh heys to me mo ghile mear
