I do not think Gadhafi's assassination could fulfill any prophecy because he was not killed by that evil group "trying to rule" the world but by the rebels of a civil war.

 

If I had to make a guess, Connie, I would say over 90% of forum members are from the USA , most of the rest from Europe, especially Ireland and the UK.

Of the USA members I would say most are from the East Coast and the North East but there are a good few from Florida, Texas, California.

The computer doesn't do graphs of membership. But it does show who is online , I must ry and print a map of people on the forum from the USa and the world when it is busy, it is interesting.

OH yes, you are right...all this gets jumbled up in my memory sometimes. The "A" thing is indeed the description of the warning, not the miracle (my bad), thank you for that correction. Conchita says that our Mother described it with a word that began with "A", but as you say, it may be a spanish word (or perhaps another language like Aramaic?), and she does not feel inclined to say it to us. Aviso is the closest we have come. I have heard some describe it as a noun, others as desriptive, not a noun or name. But we just don't know, do we? I do agree with the description you gave...with one addition, Conchita said that the colliding of two stars is her way of describing what it will be like, but whan I read her account of it, I take it to mean she is not saying it will actually "be" that or that even it will appear to be exactly like that. To me it reads like it is the closest visual description she can think of to use for us to begin to understand.

I am only an electrical engineer and technical writer, but am trying to find my true vocation at this late time in life, making a career change, planning to go into teaching. Just doing it part time right now, but by this time next year I hope to be a high school Biology teacher! Or at the very least, a general science teacher...depending on the open positions available. Still praying and looking for more "signs" :wink: but I think God is leading me to work with the kids. I think he always has, but I ignored him for about 25 years! I started my career as a High School teacher, but then I turned completely away from it, although I have conducted lots of training and "service schools" for adults, and wrote many technical manuals. So without realizing it I never really stopped teaching. Now I think perhaps God is calling me back to the children, my own children being grown and teachers themselves now...hmmm...oh well, better late than never, I guess!

 

How is it possible that the Mother of God is appearing yesterday in Medjugorje saying:

“Dear children, as a mother I am with you so that with my love, prayer and example I may help you to become a seed of the future, a seed that will grow into a firm tree and spread it's branches throughout the world. For you to become a seed of the future, a seed of love, implore the Father to forgive you your omissions up to now. My children, only a pure heart, unburdened by sin, can open itself and only honest eyes can see the way by which I desire to lead you. When you become aware of this, you will become aware of the love of God - it will be given (as a gift) to you. Then you will give it (as a gift) to others, as a seed of love. Thank you.”

and at the very same day to Maria Divine Mercy in an apparition which lasted 30 minutes during which the Blessed Virgin Mary cried continuously much to the distress of the visionary.

My child my sorrow at the wickedness so evident in the world breaks my heart when I see those lost souls plunging deeper into the abyss of darkness out of which there is no return. Satan taunts now my children as he swiftly steals the souls of those who have no love for God in their hearts. It is frightening my child that those same souls have no idea what they are facing after death. My tears of sadness flow in an unending river of sorrow as I watch also the sheer torment and suffering which my son is enduring right now. The hand of My Heavenly Father is ready to fall in chastisement now in certain parts of the world. Those nations planning a terrible atrocity to kill nations will be punished severely. I cannot hold back the hand of My Father such is the breadth of his anger. Pray for those who face this severe punishment. Pray for their souls. Their actions must be stopped or they will wipe out the lives of millions of my poor children. Their evil actions cannot be allowed yet they will aim to cause terrible destruction on those other nations they see as being their enemies. Pray pray pray before the chastisement to ease the suffering of the innocents.

Medjugorje messages are never that graphic and gloom and doom. She always has hope for us and advice for her children and love. Sometimes tears too though. Mirjana didn't appear to say today what her demeanor was, but certainly is wasn't as grave as Maria's message indicates.

Of course we can ask this of the Father in confession, but this could also mean when we are laid bare before God during the Warning coming soon. The "gift", she says, will be given to us. She is almost always very subtle and kind in her Medjugorje messages. They leave me feeling the peace flowing from them, whereas Maria's message leaves me feeling upset and threatened.

Hmm... possible but it's very open to interpretation... way too subtle for me to make that connection really..

I think Jose is wise to compare messages from different seers ... if Maria's messages are authentic (and so important as she claims), we should expect other revelations to have some harmony and speak along the same lines ... but so far as I know, her messages are out of sync with Medjugorje, Direction For Our Times, Holy Love etc.

I have the same feelings as Momscalling when I read Medjugorje (peace, joy) vs. Maria (anxiety, fear)

As Padraig pointed out earlier, there is a certain 'rhythm' to authentic messages from our Lord and Lady... we will recognize the Shepherd's Voice. When there is so much confusion over a certain revelation, it is a BIG red flag.

And her facebook page.. I noticed long time ago that questions and doubts are not allowed ... which is why I never even bother to post there. They try to make it appear that everyone accepts the messages... its deceptive..

 

Over the past few months I was taking these messages very seriously, but then started to become concerned.
This thread has helped me to discern, and has made me realize how easily I can be deceived.

You are not the only one 'easily deceived'! Many of us took the messages seriously when they first appeared... but thank God for forums like this to help us discern with the counsels of holy, open-minded and knowledgeable folks!

So many are hanging on Maria's every word, I pray they are led rightly by God.
In her last message, God says that she has given Him the gift of her free will...that's scary.

Anyway, I hope she is right in that the Warning is about to come, we need it so much. When it does come, it will set things right. Then we will know, for a little while anyway.

 

Hello to all of my brothers & sisters here. My search for info on the upcoming "Warning" led me to the messages of Maria Divine Mercy and this blog. I've found that the "warning" or "illumination of conscience" is an event of God that is mentioned in other apparitions such Garabandal and the messages of Christina Gallagher. I do believe that God will intervene in our world as it desperately needs intervention on a global scale. I found Maria's web page, thewaringsecondcoming, over a month ago. I don't know her real name and I'm not sure exactly where she is located. Although I have not been able to read all of Maria's messages, I do feel that they are authentic, yet the message is urgent. I feel they are authentic for several reasons. First and foremost the main message is to pray, specifically the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I get the sense that God the Father is asking all of us to be prayer warriors with this chaplet. We are to pray unceasingly for our brothers and sisters. To intercede for them for the graces of conversion before, during and after the "warning". Since mid Nov 2011, Maria has given us prayers from God the Father and our Lord for us to pray, namely the prayers that make up the "crusade of prayer". Personally I'm taking them at face value on faith that they are authentic since I do not seem to find any theological errors in the prayers themselves. Although the messages are strong and serious in tone, we are reminded that our prayers do mitigate the intensity or avert impending punishments that are coming our way due to sin. Overall, I find it hard to believe that this call to prayer is from the enemy. The enemy is a liar and murder from the beginning. He creates confusion, fear, and doubt. The enemy would not want us to pray, nor intercede, and to keep on sinning against God to our own demise. If we do not pray we will surely be lost.

My daughter, Rachel, and her husband, Stephen, are visting with their firstborn this week. Dairinne is a precious bundle indeed! Everyone, excluding myself, had a blast sledding downhill yesterday. 'Maria' is a buisness lady from Dublin, Ireland .She was a member of this forum until just this morning when she sent me an email asking to be removed from membership.

So you came in one door, just as she went out the other. But I think she is on facebook if you'd like to chat.

I wouldn't be honest with you if I didn't say I have grave doubts about these messages. But you will of course prayerfully discern yourself over a long prayerful period.

It would have been nice to know whether by Maria's above statement she meant:
a) not very devout Catholic but in a state of grace before her messages/visions started, regular church goer.
or
b) not in a state of grace, culturally catholic, not much of a church goer.

Makes quite a bit of difference.
Since she was very ambigious in her sentence, I would lean towards ( b)

In another thread, this site seems to give NormanHolland quite a bit of credence. He's quite big on Vassula Ryden
, very much so Norman talks very big of Vassula Ryden and goes to the extra mile to convince others of the soundness of her messages. Yet he seems to be totally ignorant of the facts and determinations made by both her Orthodox religion officials and Catholic ones. Further, no one on this site seems to have contested Normanholland or seems to have known a few relevant facts about Vassula Ryden since 2007 and beyond.

The above site is replete with documents and even stories.
The Vatican has come out against Catholics distributing her materials. Further, there are stories relating Vassula's (Greek Orthodox religion) frequent reception of communion in Catholic churches despite prohibitions against such by the Catholic Church and her Orthodox church and much much more. Her Greek Orthodox church has discliplined her and rejects her messages. Her messages come via automatic writing which is akin to channeling. There are no authentic Catholic visionaries who have gotten anything through automatic writing it is a sign of a deception.

 

I also have the very gravest doubts about Vissula Ryden and am always surprised when I hear even very good Catholic sites mentioning her messages and books favourably.
