Just asking questions, I just really want to understand Pope Francis and you seem to get him... would you say that a Catholic who has had their first communion and then co-habitates would fit the requirements of someone who deliberately and carelessly lives with someone else knowing they are gravely offending God?

 

Situational ethics and relativism are the only way this quote can be taken without causing grave scandal, and both were condemned by previous popes.

 

This pope has committed so many errors, and promoted so many heterodox Churchmen, that it is a right and duty for even the lowliest laity who know their Faith to speak up and defend that Faith.

 

Which would make you ...think you're Jesus, or this pope is Jesus.

Regardless of the fact it was the Pharisees of Jesus' day who wanted divorce, and the modern Pharisees who want to admit those in irregular unions to the Eucharist.

Surely you don't persist in insisting on the fairy tale, despite 3 years of irrefutable evidence to the contrary, that this is not the pope's agenda?

 

A word of warning: Trying to nail down a dissenting liberal is like trying to nail jello to a tree.

Liberals "win" by asymmetrical warfare and active denial. They say brief stupid things, forcing us to expend too much time and far too many words to refute them. And it means no difference to them in the end, because their precious opinion means more to them than the Truth.

Whether they realize it or not, the devil uses them to upset us and waste invaluable time trying to "correct" them.

The only way to effectively fight them is to realize your duty here is not to debate or discuss anything with them. It's simply to teach them the Truth, much like a lovable but bad three year old. You don't debate anything with a three year old. You simply teach them the Truth.

Their opinion deserves no respect, because error has no "rights," but they do, because they're made in the image and likeness of God.

Facts please... We learned in grade school that stating something without backing it up with facts and reasons makes us sound childish.

 

Praying for the clergy does not equate to agreeing with them.

 

Do you ever just go into a confessional and just remain silent... I am tempted to do so now since Pope Francis says I can do that and have my sins absolved.

 

Just remember you are speaking to your elder here. We don't need this repeat of your disrespect. Have you nothing else in your repertoire of insults? If you continue to show disrespect to Our Holy Father and to malign him the way you and your gang of impudent and impertinent urchins do I will continue to stand up to you and correct you.
