This is terrible. Nursing home patients are so vulnerable, they need to be protected from this vaccine.
There will be a lot of pressure to hide this; to attribute it to other causes. To cover up. But it seems hard to see how, if this continues, they will be able to do so. People will start to wonder and ask questions.
Jo.... thats exactly my sentiments. The reports are all over the place.....how does anyone know the truth or what to do? They are understandably scared and are taking a shot in the dark. I think the confusion about this vaccine keeps its promoters free from any adverse responsibility. The confusion is unbelievable....people don’t know what the truth is....about everything surrounding it. You could be getting a vaccine that will mitigate the virus or possibly kill you. what kind of choice is that. Holding off seems to me to be the best option for those who have elected to get it.

I just looked this up so I could share it and apparently it's fake. CS Lewis didn't write this. I looked through the screwtape letters as well to see if it was in there and it isn't. Apparently this has been shared a lot on social media, but it's not true .
I guess a lot of people like me are hopeful its true, we are used to a lot of what George Orwell coming true. I did look through my copy of the screwtape letters earlier and could not find it as well.

My husband and I had our first face to face Dr. visit today in over a year. Everything has stopped because of covid, so we needed a check up. At the end of the visit the Dr. brought up the covid vacc. I said no because I had a dream about it, I have an autoimmune disease, and it was derived from aborted fetal tissue. She went ballistic on me, I couldn't believe it. She was like, possessed! So I just sat there, listened to her spiel, said I did not want to get off on the wrong foot with a new Dr. But, I am not taking the vacc. Second Dr. I've had that yelled at me for not taking the vacc. I am in my 70's, I have never had a Dr. yell at me before! This is weird . . .
Very strange, in Ireland doctors are getting payed by the state for every covid vaccine they dole out. Some people are so emotionally brainwashed as well and can have angry reactions when people contradict what they think.
Oh that's really awful, my dad had a similar experience with his doctor who made him feel like a fool if he didn't get the vaccine. I don't think her reaction was very professional, even if she disagreed with you she did not need to be disrespectful. She probably didn't want to hear about the 'aborted fetal tissue', you hit a nerve. It is weird, but some people are not acting rationally when it comes to the vaccine, and they have no tolerance for those who decide against it. It certainly is creating a growing divide.
