With Cardinal Sarah speaking at the World meeting of Families (Vatican approved)
I think this thread is dead now on papa Francis killing our Church....persist if you must! Smelling nature and getting ready for the Lords hand upon America.... getting a few cold ones while I can....lol

Don't forget that there's an even older and more certain prophesy that was given in Israel.
By Prophet Yehoshua ben Yosef, "Tu es Petrus..."

Therefore we can be even more definite and certain of a true dogma when we see the bishops of Portugal and Pope Francis together united against, possibly, many other Cardinals and Bishops.

If you are trying to catch me in some anti-papal statement you are on the wrong road. Pope Francis is my Pope and I am loyal to the papacy and the Church. If I am reading you incorrectly I apologize so please correct me, but it seems once again people are trying to label me as against the Pope. If so I resent it in the extreme and I am sick and tired of it. If this is the case you are inferring something I did not say because you want to see me in a way I am not.

You are correct in your statement, however I pointed out we should look to Portugal for direction because it is clear from prophecy that there may not be a Pope to follow during the period in question. The Russians are to overrun the Vatican and the Pope will be killed. Then a Pope will be in hiding for a period, die there and the Church will be without a visible head the whole time. This is very likely much of the duration of the chastisement. The shepherd will be struck and the flock scattered.

P all private revelation is conjecture before the fact is it not?
Public Revelation is more certain (if interpretted correctly).

Lets not get too carried away with these matters of private revelation - they may not come to pass as we think.

If private revelation isn't something you put stock in then maybe you're on the wrong Forum. This one is kind of built around it.

If Pope's are so sure of private revelation that they would consecrate their entire papacy to it as Pope Francis did with his pontificate, then I will listen to them over you. Maybe you should write Pope Francis and tell him he is "getting too carried away" with his belief in it.

When I put up a post like this...
    E. Cardinal Pacelli:
[IMG]I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul…. I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the Church, reject her ornaments and make her feel remorse for her historical past.

A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, “Where have they taken Him?”

    E. Cardinal Pacelli said this in 1931. He became Pope Pius XII in 1939.

You Eamonn usually hit the like button.
If good catholics like yourself will not face the reality of Kasper, then there will soon be little to save of the Church.
Our Lady has sent many warnings , with Her finger pointed at the Hierarchy.
I hope you dont consider Her warnings nasty gossip.

    I don't think so P.
Surely this is a Forum, a market place for airing, critiquing and discussing different views wrt Our Lady rather than a cult where everyone has to agree with everybody else's personal opinions.

I see nothing so specific and consistent in private revelation that should lead us to so strongly believe, as you seem to do,that your view above is on track. Namely, "The Russians are to overrun the Vatican and the Pope will be killed. Then a Pope will be in hiding for a period, die there and the Church will be without a visible head the whole time."

From this advice, that maybe we should hold our interpretations a little more loosely, you seem to conclude I am opposed to all private revelation. How about lightening up a bit and taking comments with more of a cup-half-full disposition. Thanks.

I would really like our Cardinal Kasper bashers to supply quotes of his own words that succinctly state what you have issues with. Not what other tabloid "reporters" say he said.

Are you actually able to do that Mac?

She has indeed, Mac, and the hierarchy are heavily warned in authentic private revelations but unfortunately, false revelations copy the authentic so discernment is crucial in this area. Most importantly, you and the three or four who share your views on this forum miss the target so totally when you think that the warnings are referring to Pope Francis or Cardinal Kasper.

Why? Kasper doesnt even know what he has said...

ARROYO: But you do understand, when a Churchman like yourself, a theologian, an esteemed international figure, a Curial official says: “Here is my proposal, and the Pope agrees with me” that does cause some …

CARDINAL KASPER: Well, this I did not say.

ARROYO: Well you did say, and the quote is: “Clearly this is what he wants,” and the Pope has approved of my proposal. Those were the quotes from the time …

CARDINAL KASPER: No … he did not approve my proposal. The Pope wanted that I put the question [forward], and, afterwards, in a general way, before all the cardinals, he expressed his satisfaction with my talk. But not the end, not in the … I wouldn’t say he approved the proposal, no, no, no.

OK, so you are unable to actually quote from Card Kasper what you so strongly object to? You just do.

Pope Francis wants to visit Fatima in 2017

Many revelations from the Bible were witnessed by only one person and they were so important for us. At the same time, we know that the miracle of Fatima was witnessed by 60 to 70 thousands of people for a reason…

Basto you are crossing a line with these sort of personal and derogatory comments on MOG. Please refrain. Play the ball not the man.

BTW you appear to have completely missed the point.
I am very devoted to Fatima and pilgrimaged there from the other side of the world. Stayed and prayed for 5 nights. Alas I don't think these facts will make any difference to your willingness to understand (n):unsure:.

Seriously guys I am starting to become embarrassed with all the keyboard warrior testosterone, if you can't have a constructive debate without getting personal, well ?? don't debate :rolleyes::rolleyes:..

My eight year old son has more backbone..he was accused of breaking a window last night, he took the blame and got an earful on not to throw stones and got sent to bed..The truth came out this morning he didn't break the window he didn't want his friend getting into trouble..now if that is not a lesson to take on board ???

If things are getting personal and you don't know how to handle it, well it's quite simple

You a right of course QuD. And I do try to not get personal [ except some banter with BH,which I know he can handle.]
Just sometimes one wants to defend oneself.
I called Kasper a liar, which he was caught on tape doing.
And now I am judged 'hard of heart' and' lacking love'.
    What can I say?[IMG]

I will try extra hard to keep a cool head.Hopefully we all will.

I don't know Mac the whole thread reminds me of a dream I had back in May 2013
    original post below
    http://motheofgod.com/threads/dream.4533/#post-37771

I had a dream last night I was in a room and a few people were sitting round a table they were constantly talking, praying, praising, arguing, fighting, laughing and agreeing and at sometimes quite loud, the door to the room opened and Jesus walked in his radiance was stunning but his face was expressionless ,he stood looking at the people one of them turned round on their chair and looked at him smiled and gestured as if to say come in and sit down but then turned and started talking to the others, Jesus looked at all of them dropped his head like a sad child and walked back out of the room, My heart sunk at this and I screamed at the people are you blind did you not see, Jesus was just here one of them nodded as if to say we know but they continued with their discussions.

Better yet, take the private arguments into a private chat, where it belongs and not ruin this thread which was to highlight the up coming Synod in a positive light. It would be better to spend negative time in prayer for the Synod, not idle gossip of ones own opinions of doom and gloom views of the Pope or the Synod that was inspired by the Holy Spirit to have. Let it be....
