JAMES MADISON - Naturalization of 1795, "naturally aliens for those children born abroad - shall be considered as citizens, but not natural citizens - could be naturalized by Congressional statutes but should not be called "natural born."
AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT TED CRUZ did and is today, just a simple U.S. Citizen.

"He (Ted Cruz) remained a natural born Canadian even after he moved to the U.S. And he only substantiated his claim to American status when it took legal steps to declare his citizenship." By Andrew Burstein - Salon. Also read U.S. News & World Report by Robert Clinton -Ted Cruz is not a 'Natural Born Citizen..."
There are plenty of articles for you to read that accurately explain how he is not a natural born citizen.

    Today's news:

A New Jersey judge has declared Sen. Ted Cruz is constitutionally eligible to be president of the United States.

After considering the opinions of various scholars, Judge Jeff S. Masin wrote in his opinion Tuesday that while there can be no certainty as to what the founders meant by “natural born citizen,” he concluded “that the more persuasive legal analysis is that such a child, born of a citizen-father, citizen-mother, or both, is indeed a ‘natural born Citizen’ within the contemplation of the Constitution.”

And by the way, any sane person who has read all the evidence against Ted Cruz in this forum believes you are wrong and know you have no idea what you are talking about. We are wasting our time with you. Goodbye. Trump 2016!

Wow, your Naturalization Act of 1795 is somehow different than this one...fancy that!

I wonder which one is right? Can't imagine...

1795 Naturalization Act (An act to establish an uniform rule of naturalization, and to repeal the act heretofore passed on that subject)

    Sess. II, Chap. 19, 20; 1 stat 414.

    3rd Congress; January 29, 1795.

You can find the full text of this law here or download the PDF.

    SUMMARY

Any free white person could recieve citizenship providing they had renounced their allegiance to their previous state/sovereignty by name, lived in the United States for five years at least, behave as a man of good moral character, and renounced any title they possessed in the previous states. Once the applicant had been approved and recorded by the court clerk, all related children would receive citizenship whether they had been born in or outside the U.S. providing their father had at some point, resided in the U.S., and never been legally convicted of joining the army of Great Britain.

Wow, you need to get the news to this Judge in New Jersey, not to mention the one in Texas. You can't just keep this all to yourself...

Yes, all the ones who disagree with you are crooked. Makes perfect sense. I'm starting to be convinced, thanks for all your help.

Oh, and the reference to when Ted Cruz was naturalized in
You should tell this to the state department right away, they are also very confused, thank goodness you are on it...

    (CT:CON-576; 05-05-2015)
    a. U.S. citizenship may be acquired either at birth or through naturalization
subsequent to birth. U.S. laws governing the acquisition of citizenship at birth
    embody two legal principles:
    (1) Jus soli (the law of the soil) - a rule of common law under which the place
of a person’s birth determines citizenship. In addition to common law, this
principle is embodied in the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and
the various U.S. citizenship and nationality statutes.
    (2) Jus sanguinis (the law of the bloodline) - a concept of Roman or civil law
under which a person’s citizenship is determined by the citizenship of one
or both parents. This rule, frequently called “citizenship by descent” or
“derivative citizenship”, is not embodied in the U.S. Constitution, but such
    citizenship is granted through statute.

Oh, wait, I forgot, did I ask you where evidence is that Ted Cruz was naturalized in 2014?

I know you must have mistakenly provided the Salon article as evidence that Ted Cruz was naturalized in 2014, because, amazingly, that is not what it says. I'm sure you just clicked on the wrong link. Could you send me the right link for this episode in 2014 that would have ended this whole discussion nationwide 2 years ago? Please, I really want to know.

Bless everyone here and pray for an honest, moral, pro-life, pro-private property of citizens who can't afford crooked lawyers like Donald Trump can, consistently conservative president who has been proven to be a natural born citizen. I know that is a tall order...I wonder who could fit this bill. Let's all sleep on it.

Victor Williams has a theory about Ted Cruz. He believes the Canadian-born senator is not a "natural born citizen" and is thus ineligible to be president. And he's decided to prove it the only way he can: by running for president himself.

Cruz is pulling "a long con" on the American people, says Williams, a law professor at the Catholic University of America, in Washington, DC. He believes Cruz is attempting to be "born again"—not in a religious way, but by using American citizenship laws to claim natural born status, which he believes the Constitution reserves only for those born on American soil. "It's an impossibility to make someone reborn on American soil when they were born in Canada," he says...

I have a feeling this case is going all the way to the Supreme Court - a Supreme Court that just recently lost (under extremely suspicious circumstances) the nation's most respected defender of the Founder's original intent.

We are living in dark, dangerous times.
