I think he knows he is not going to win. He may be trying to wake up the Catholic voter’s. Taylor may be trying to round up a coalition a- la-Vigano.
Yes, I agree that he doesn't anticipate a serious possibility of success, but perhaps he can awaken the lukewarm Catholic voting block to discern a clearer moral evaluation of the party candidates. Come Lord Jesus and pour the Holy Spirit out upon your Church in America!
I think for Taylor to consider doing this, he may feel we don’t have much time. And having a spokesperson in politics, to guide those who have no clue, may not be a bad idea.
It's possible that he sees this as a means of gaining name recognition. Perhaps he has plans to try his hand at running for office in Texas - maybe something in the State legislature first followed by a bid for a seat in the US House or Senate. That could take maybe ten or more years. Is he young enough? I wish him well but this will be a huge burden on his family. Then again, maybe he sees this as breaking ground with a long term aim for one of his children to become active in politics.

He's a very smart man, so he has to know that his chances are slim, but I'm sure he's okay with this. He is a man on a mission, and he must feel called to wake up the Faithful.
It makes no sense at all. Apart from the extra attention it may draw to his channel. I don't say this in a mean way. He is an obscure youtuber with somewhat of a following amongst church going traditional leaning catholics. These are the facts. What can be concluded from this is something else. One thing can be sure that unless their is some targeted thanos like event Taylor will be happily at home making youtube videos
If he believes the Great Warning is coming soon, he likely knows all Christians will become real Catholics as a result. He has learned about Garabandal recently. At that point (The Warning) it would be good for there to be a candidate that embodies authentic Catholic principles...even if it happens during his second run at the presidency (2028). Just a thought. I, for one do not doubt the power of Our Lady's triumph. If the USA is to continue it will have to be transformed by her heart.
