Zechariah 12 6 In that day I will make the governors of Juda like a furnace of fire amongst wood, and as a firebrand amongst hay: and they shall devour all the people round about, to the right hand, and to the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place in Jerusalem. 7 And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda, as in the beginning: that the house of David, and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not boast and magnify themselves against Juda. 8 In that day shall the Lord protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he that hath offended among them in that day shall be as David: and the house of David, as that of God, as an angel of the Lord in their sight. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace, and of prayers: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn.
Zhekaria 14 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. 2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. 6 On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. 7 It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light. 8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter. 9 The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name. 10 The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place. 11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure. 12 This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. 15 A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.
Youtube is your friend (sometimes): Her Christian name is new to me. Thanks to John, I know now that it's an Irish name for flower. Maybe it's a northern equivalent or a shortened form of the name Blathnaid which also translates to blossom or flower and is more common in these parts. Her surname translates to Grealy.
Look at this shower of ejits here... Please fast forward to the 8:55 mark to see the weirdness of it all. I mean, this stuff is beyond sanity...
It's beyond insanity. Also beware of anyone telling you that now is a good time to invest it in something. Are they investing money of their own in the same thing? Even if they are, this doesn't rule out that they might be wrong. Somehow, I doubt if these peculiar people are investing any of their money in green energy. Perhaps they are getting desperate that not enough mugs are prepared to do so. The recent abandonment of electric cars by a very prominent German car-hire company may well be a straw in the wind.
Vaccines are more likely to cause that kind of thing. The whole charade is actually reminiscent to me of Pachamamaism.
That has troubled me, to. Of course, many of his family are Jewish, which is bound to have an influence. In his favour, in his four years as POTUS, his actions in support of Israel amounted to little more than an acknowledgement of Jerusalem as the capital city. Nobody died, thank God.
The Biden administration has many Jewish members - hence their support for genocide in Gaza. But it is now anti-Semitic to mention 'the Jews'. It's called Jewish privelege. No such protection for the Catholics or the Protestants.
I really think the State of Israel is coming to an end. Not because of anything anybody else is doing but because of what they are doing themselves. I believe they are committing suicide in their quest for revenge. Their real friends would tell them this; but they don't., they just keep silent. I love the Jewish people I hate to see them doing this to themselves. Hatred is like holding battery acid in our bare hands to throw in the face of another. Yes we may burn their faces when we do so but we burn our own hands to the bone. Israel is burning their own heart out with hate. If we really did stand with Israel and love the Jews we would tell them so.
It's called Holy Water (exorcised, of course). Imagine, if you will, an entire legion marching around this place carrying buckets of Holy Water to sprinkle, while a second march with Holy Bells (also exorcised), ringing so loudly they can't hear themselves. While I find what the farmers are spreading in certain places amusing, I honestly think the Blessed Water and Bells would have a greater impact.....in driving away the madness...
The actions of Israel in Gaza, there for the whole world to see, are considerably weakening that privilege. The Holocaust is beginning to seem less exceptional.
I found myself counting 40 days from today after the reading at Mass this morning. I know trying to work out dates is never a good thing and I should have been concentrating on the sermon.
Here's a recent interview where Colonel Macgregor talks about Trump having resisted a push to declare war on Iran. Let's hope he remains averse to war if he wins the election. I have some reservations about Colonel Macgregor. I can't explain it but there are times I get a sense that he might have masonic connections. More likely than not I'm way off the mark on that, and he does appear to know what he's talking about.
Prayers for these 3 soldiers. And prayers that this does not pull US deeper into this conflict. But I must say it’s very concerning. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Internat...aninan-backed-drone-strike/story?id=106747031
The primary roll of a countries military is to defend its borders. Only after the nations borders are completely secure should any military personnel be deployed overseas. Those who openly advocate war with Iran, Russia, China, the deployment of the army in Iraq, Syria, etc. do not want the American army on America's borders to protect American citizens and invent various labels such as racist, xenophobic, etc. Biden, i.e. whoever governs instead of him, manipulates that he will not protect the border until money is approved for Israel and Ukraine... At this moment, there is not even an American government, much less an army that serves the private interests of people who rule everything from the shadows. I don't know who in their right mind would sign up for the army, to die in foreign countries for other people's interests, doing obvious evil to others, while the country he promised to defend is as hollow as French cheese at the borders. This is certainly not what the forefathers fought for and what the founders of the USA had in mind.
