I was just wondering what the Blessed Mother looked like when she appeared to you,...what was she wearing? The color of her eyes? Thanks

 

Id' say she looked in her early twenties, yet somehow gave the impression of being much older. She was dressed in a white dress and mantle that was whiter then white so that it appeared to shine. Like Our LAdy of Fatima or Knock. Her eyes were very loving and kind. Her voice gentle yet somehow very strong, each owrd distinct nothing lost, full of love. She had long dark hair, I think but I could see onlypart of under the veil. She seemed slim, girlish yet fully a woman.

She seemed a real human being not like a statue, a person who could be your friend your mother.

But it was not like looking at a person in this world streams of tears ran down my cheeks. As I say she was ravishing.

THats why when I look at films of visionaries in places like Medugorje or Garabandal I can perfectly understand, to see her is to go into ecsasy..the heart feels like it is going to burst.

 

padraig...fascinating read...we have indeed a glorious mother in Mary...praised be Jesus. Your story connected... because I've worked in jails and prisons for 21 years now and I know of what you speak. The Rosary...even though we have personal styles of prayer...I would like to deepen my prayer. Perhaps a forum devoted to different insights into the mysteries of the Rosary. Example...the Nativity...insight...the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords is meek and humble and comes into the world in such poverty, humility and simplicity...(Do we really believe we deserve more) Mary and Joseph must have known the child was about to be born yet trusted Gods providence to travel...(Do we acsept Gods will even in difficult times) etc...
Not to get long winded here...but it would help each other if we could somehow share different insights, meaning and inspiration from the different mysteries. I would love to see all the different ideas that I've never contemplated.

Its great you do prison work. When Blesse3d Pope John 23rd became Pope the first thing he did was to visit Regina Caeli prison in ROme, I read even the prison guards were crying it was so touching. THe first thing he did was to tell the prisoners his two uncles had been imprisoned for poaching,

If I forget about the rosary thread remind me. Great idea.

 

Thanks for that video...man...you must have some library...that was fast! Pope John the 23rd really did like his pasta..huh. Oh by the way...happy St Patricks day...I went to a St Patricks celebration and no lie...must of been 100 people in line to get some green beer...Long Live Ireland!

Yes. I think when you are in heaven and you meet some guy, maybe a person or an angel you will not have to , as the MAerican say have a lot of 'Bull' , you will 'Know' and I mean KNOW each other right away.

THis is the total opposite of here below where we slip and slide and hide in shadows and half truths . THere will be hiding in the Eteranl Light of GOd , which will iluminate us all.

 

Padraig! Thanks for sharing your story, I remember reading your posts at Catholic Planet, when you were banned I followed you here. In fact I'm not sure how I ended on this forum just kind of stumbled in.. there were only 26 of us reading your post then, my how things have changed!
Always the presence of the Blessed Mother is felt at this forum, through her grace we are being educated and prepared for what lies ahead. We owe you our gratitude and thanks for giving us a place to communicate and share with like minded people.
