Wow! Statue of Our Lady Turns Her Back on us!

Thanks for reminding me about Emma, Lily. I forgot. I will watch her again before bed tonight

 

My own mother and maternal grandmother both did this when things were extremely bad, the turning away was more for our sake, I think than their own. Both went into a corner and wept. I guess I thought that this was the 'way of things' but obviously more of a family trait.

 

Oh padraig! Thats the saddest thing I've heard in a long time. Women are suppose to weep. I cannot imagine (such a crybaby as I am). Her father must have been such a cruel man.

 

Her father, Patrick , Marti. died a few months before I was born and I am named after him. . He ws a butcher and a very red faced, constantly angry mad. My mother said when he came home from work all the children had to sit perfectly still land none of them was allowed to move an inch or make the slightest noise.. My mother said she was still angry with her mother, my grand mother for not standing up to him more. I wonder about this. He seems to have been a very, very angry, violent man and perhaps she was simply afraid herself. She was a very,very gentle quiet woman.

This reminds me of how the sins of the fathers are passed on several generations. My own mother I think because of her upbringing had a certain diffidence at showing her feelings to her children. I was amazed to realise later on that other parents hugged and kissed their children for instance. This did not mean she did not love or have feelings she did and very deeply. It just meant the part that permitted her to show these feelings had been kind of frozen out of her.

We all of us carry the baggage of previous generations to some extent or other. The wonderful thing about prayer is that it can bring such healing to generational sin.

I suppose we all have these skeletons in the cupboard ready to jump out and rattle around us at any time and place.

After reading his book I am SOOOOOO convinced this is what God wants me to do to heal my
poor sick family of sooooo many bondages and generational crap.

 

I think most of them; we don't even know they are there.

 

Hi MS7, I have been thinking about getting that book too after you recommended it before and I've seen it advertised here and there ever since, which I've taken to be gentle nudges . I'm wondering, does it come with a CD? I recall you mentioned something about a CD of it, but what I have seen advertised is only a book.

 

I was given the book, the CD (5-6hrs. long) and a laminated prayer card.
If you type in his name on google and go to his website I'm sure its there.
I stayed up one night playing solitaire on the computer with headphones on listening to him and taking notes.
Its the only time I can sit for one period of time and not get interrupted. My hand was stiff, but my mind was full and soooo appreciative! The book also has lists in the back which I read outloud to my family. I seriously did not know that some things were considered 'doors' to evil. Water witching? (to me its just the magnetic pull of the underground water-we have used it) , Chiropractors who practice the ying-yang method? (whatever that is) and so many more things.

 

What a load of nonsense. For anyone to even suggest that The Mother of God would turn Her back astounds me.
You really shouldn't believe everything you see and hear.
This is obviously a hoax!
Surely anyone who just listens to the Gospel on Sundays can see this.

 

This is a very small matter when you consider that we are to expect 'fire falling from the sky', 'bishops opposing bishops, cardinals opposing cardinals' and nations being 'anihilated' !

 

I'm open to any message our Lady is trying to tell us. I just wish somebody would take some soap and water to the statue...her mantle looks filthy in the pictures provided. Some bleach and water should do.

 

Yes I noticed this too. 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness' , has a lot of truth to it. I sometimes scrub my statues with bleach.

I thought originally it was just gray because that is how it was painted. In private it doesn't matter so much but if it is being shown to the public it should be kept scrubbed. It is dishonorable not too.

I am glad I do not know what Emma knows. I am sad enough t o just have a general sense.

 

In light of earthquake and super typhoon in the Philippines, and now with news of a tropical depression taking aim at this region again, my mind keeps coming back to this story. This happened in Cebu, right where the typhoon hit. Theres a huge message somewhere in this.

The Philippines legislature passed the 'Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act', 9 days after the date of Emma's apparition and less than one year ago. This legislation has been enacted under relentless pressure from 'donor governments' and NGO's such as Amnesty International.

The warnings of famine at La Salette were not followed by hunger in rich countries, but most dramatically and oddly in (then) faithful Ireland, as well as in some rural areas of France.

Ireland is now doing its own 'modernising' of 'sexually related law, having recently legalised abortion and now discussing Same Sex 'marriage'. It will be interesting to see whether God's hand will strike in that country too.

Oh, beloved devout Philippines being hit? When I first read of the statue turning, I thought it was a worldwide
sign, the consecration as requested at Fatima was not done as requested.
