The signs are all around. They have been for decades now. Yes, things have intensified and evil has spread.

But we are still living relatively normal lives still working our butts off to pay the bills. My immediate worry is financial. Timing bill went on wife's car and had to replace so savings all gone.

Seems to me we all have go the timing of events wrong. We have been saying 'shortly', 'soon' for far too long. Either God has delayed or we have got it wrong.

If someone had said to me ten years ago we still would be going about our normal business in March 2016 I would have not believed it. What chances this Christmas will still be a relatively normal Christmas for all of us?

And that is a rhetorical question! Because none of us know the answer for sure.

 

No, we know neither the day nor hour. We have this great hunger to nail things down, don't we? Perhaps God wants us to trust in Him rather than a time table.

 

But all the same I continue to bleieve we are on the very verge.

I try to remember if there were no bills I would not need to lay so snugly in His Arms.

 

I have given up on timetables.

So, trust in God one day at a time.

 

I just had an idle moment there and I looked at the IP addresses of people reading these posts at the moment, it is quite amazing, people for countries all over the world.

The internet is amazing.

We are in a wearisome/impatient period. On one had we want to see the events, which heaven has revealed to us, to begin soon so we can see this evil/confusing mess get cleaned up. On the other hand, it seems, every day that we have left to the beginning of the 'day of the Lord' is more mercy to prepare our souls, our family, our goods for a period of horror and grace. A period that mankind had never experienced. It will dwarf the great depression of the late 1920's and the famine's that Europe suffered in the mid 1800's that killed millions. We really have no concept what we will have to endure by the grace of God. The key is to keep the faith, take in the sacraments, pray, study, discern, do penance and stay the course and stay away from all the political and earthly distractions and enjoy the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

 

I know in my head that at all times and in all circumstances we are called to be a joyful people because we know the Good News. But, my struggle is in the heart at times. I can let my human emotions overtake me- it's not easy being a parent , husband, etc. But it is who I am and it is the vocation God has asked me to live. So, yes, despite some of these challenges, it is time to prepare but also time to live in this moment and in joy. It is the time to be salt and light in a world that can be "tasteless" and dark. This can't come from within me unless Christ is in me. That is what I want, this is what I desire. And when the evil one seeks to cover the light, I need the wisdom to call to Mary, my mother, and all the saints to intercede and protect me. As St. Paul encouraged us , it's time to fight the good fight, it's time to win the race.

 

Friends and family have been meeting for over twenty years now in our rosary prayer group....we have been watching and waiting as well.
The signs are everywhere you look today, but still, no one knows Gods hour. The anticipation though is not in vain....it's a grace that keeps us constantly prepared, souls Confessed, always awaiting with our lamp oil full....so be it Gods hour for the world, or for just little me....I want to be ready

 

Yes! I keep thinking how bad things are now....knowing spiritually how much worse it can get...and I just want it dealt with. Losing our creature comforts is a place that we can only imagine, but as you say Fatima...it's going to be really rough....not looking forward to that! Makes me really appreciate everything gift right now even more, and keeps me living in the present.
The other good fruit is the way you view everyday life. Someone who knows they have a limited time on this earth...say months or even a year....you are going to live and think differently than most. You are not going to be miserly about money to help others, your going to love and appreciate everyone more fully....and most important, you will have your soul prepared for that moment. So, in the end, that's how we should be living anyhow...so it really is a grace for those devoted to the rosary....and other devotions.

 

Yes Miker...I keep getting that call to fight the good fight, it's time to win the race too. I guess it not for everyone. Life's conflicts are inescapable, but picking your battles are optional. That is where I need discernment. I've been praying for God to show me. Greeezzzz, unless you lock yourself up and shut the world off, the battlefields just seem insurmountable.
I could shut it off, but my conscience doesn't rest....I feel like I've abandoned my call.

I joined the Legion of Mary recently. That was a direct prompting of the Holy Spirt for sure....and without a doubt, Her army will do more good than any human effort. As Padre Pio said, "the rosary....the weapon"! Who could argue with that?

 

I was on my way to a funeral a couple of weeks ago and was feeling very sad and sorry for myself. A thought popped into my head which said, "Today is a great blessing for my family because not everyone will be able to have a funeral like this."

I am sure I'm not alone in having plenty of wobbles thinking about what's ahead. I know timetables are difficult to imagine but in my mind whirring moments I try and put the following in the right order: illumination, secrets, End of Yr of Mercy, Russia, financial collapse, civil upheaval, chastisements, miracle, rescue...

But I'm wasting time, and there's no right answer.

 

Your in good company JAK....most of us are trying to sort it all out. That's hard. But even if we can't know exactly how this is ordered, we at least know where our focus needs to be....even if we have temporary distractions like elections

 

Saint Augustine said to an Italian mystic that the face of the world will completely change in 2023. This is the date of the "end of the earth", the earth as we know it now (i.e. bad). He got the permission of God to reveal this to us via the mystic person. Praise the Lord and keep smiling because His Hand will soon intervene. Conchita said that when the Warning will come it will be difficult to assist Mess. Well we see that more and more: more and more churches are closed or the messes are no messes anymore but celebrations without the Holy Sacrifice.
I will lose my job in November, but as usually, God will provide ! My father was very sick (cancer) but he healed ! I lost my appartment, but I got another one with garden. So, the new job will come also. He takes care of everyone of us. Thank you Abba !
