Well, I will say that I am very grateful to have MOG because otherwise I would be feeling a bit lonely in my somewhat orthodox Catholic beliefs and faith. There well may come a time when we do not have the luxury of a forum like this.
The article that padraig posted earlier today regarding the rosary and specifically The Presentation touched on a great deal of this very thought and the visions and life of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres are incredibly in line with exactly what we are experiencing.
It makes me wonder, how can it be justified that all these things which were decided in some cases by the Church Fathers and a great many Popes so long ago are suddenly up for "dialog" once again? This article helps to understand this very well IMO.

Well as the wise old sage said in Proverb's

'There is nothing new under the sun'

    But, still, it's totally sickening.

I think Padraig when I was about 16 reading of these things in the future, books full of Marian apparitions and prophecies, I would have thought I would be proud too.

One thing all of this has done for me though is to knock that pride down a few pegs. I have done absolutely nothing to deserve the clarity I have in seeing what is going on. In fact I often wonder why me? So many others are blind and I have sinned worse than them. I deserve to be one of the most blind of them all. It honestly boggles me sometimes.

I don't think it is an accident that we here on MOG have found each other. The Remnant being gathered together before the harvest.

Definitely watered down Kool aid. :(
How long oh Lord? Lord Jesus, forgive us our sins, keep us in your mercy and please grant us the strength to hang onto the hem of your cloak as the chasm of iniquities grows forever deeper. Help us to always look to you for discernment as the weeds are growing higher and more aggressive in choking out those of your children. With Mary our most precious and humble mother I place this prayer before you.

However on the other hand, also when I was just 16; also, St Micheal the arc angel told me a Marian secret , concerning Holy Mother Church, which describes something wonderful and unexpected which will help to give a wonderful solution to these times.

    God is so totally amazing.

Who ever expected the birth of Jesus?

    But still He came.

I await God's direct intervention with great eagerness as did the faithful Remnant in times of old.

In the bible we are told,

    'Do not be afraid',

Some 74 times in all said in scripture

So , do not be afraid. God is still God. He is still powerful

I had not read the Spirit Daily article linked on this thread until seeing the shock horror reactions to it.

Having now read this article; It seems Michael Brown may have written and printed that much over the years he is all out of new ideas. I have found bless him, that some of the headlines and headings have a sensational ring to them, and this always made me a bit wary. I do subscribe to Spirit Daily, because there are lots of links that give me a chance to read what is going on in a way never possible before the internet. We have to discern what we read, and not be swayed too easily into a modernist way of thinking. Oh, and the linked article just sounded like a load of waffle to me; an old man having a senior moment. Sorry Michael if you read this.

Go and find Father Isaac Mary Relyea on Utube, he is saying stand by the traditional teaching of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

Funnily enough last week end after reading too much about all that is going wrong these days in the world and the Church, I felt the only thing was a visit to Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration. That put me back in a more peaceful zone interiorly. Thank You dear Jesus, stay with us, we need You now more than ever.

Merciful Jesus, please forgive our leaders and fathers when they fall prey to the diabolical disorientation that seems to have swept over us all like a tsunami. We are all weak and powerless in the face of such a mighty force for evil. Our poor fathers and leaders do not know what they are doing to Your mystical body on earth. If we compare the obstinate defiance against Your rightful Sovereignty over Your bride, the Church with the breakdown in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, I think we can see a horror that fills us with fear. You O Lord, say 'Do not be afraid.' Our only option then O Lord is to run to You, hide under Your Mighty wing, and wait for the storm to pass. We do not have the strength to withstand all this horror and ugliness. God save us all.

Exactly! I just said this to my (only) close Catholic friend the other day. “Do you ever wonder why we of all people can see this?” We too were seriously grave sinners . We were saved so literally by the Blood of Christ. I ponder it. I too think MOG is a great gift and grace from Our Lord. “I will not leave you orphaned...”

When I was ten I was helping one of the nuns from my school do some work sorting out the classroom and we were talking about the scripture warning of wolves in sheep’s clothing and I was very disturbed by it and I said “ but how can we tell? How will we know.” And she said in a very kindly but serious way “by their fruits. By their fruits we will know them.” Simple and true. I think of it often as we see the rotten fruit of this terrible time.

Yes but I am afraid Clerical deception is the very worst kind. We see, say, a Bishop of a Cardinal or even a Pope all dressed up in full gear, with this huge cross on his chest and we can kind of instinctively let our guard down. I remember after my conversion how innocent I was. In Ireland we have, or had this huge respect for the clergy going right back to the Penal Days when the Church was underground. So the first time I heard a priest preach heresy I was genuinely shocked. I still am, to be honest. Though to be honest for the most part it is not that clergy are heretical , just that they don't care one way or another. Which is why the Vatican can do as it pleases at the moment. I am afraid our Bishops are shrugging their shoulders and saying it is above their pay grade because they don't want to take any risks.

Sometimes we can find false people in the strangest ways. One time I heard about a Franciscan priest who was regarded as a saint because he was supposed to have visions of the Blessed Virgin on a regular basis. Of course I was dying to meet him. But one time I got talking to a house keeper where the priest had stayed. I starting asking questions about him of her and she told me what a pain he had been as a guest. The eggs were never boiled right. The clothes were not ironed just so. Why was the bed not properly made and on and on and on. This Friar made the poor woman's life a misery. :):):)

So of course I no longer believed.

It is not so hard to tell lies. But it is very hard to tell lies over a longer period. I always think to myself to give folks enough rope and they will hang themselves. It is inevitable. The Scotch writer Walter Scott had a saying about this.
    :)

Well one good thing about following Catholic Prophecy is that it offers huge ground for hope. :)

But some people will have their lanterns lit for the bridegroom's coming and some will not. I have to say there are an awful lot of people have let their lanterns go out. Prayer is the oil that keep our lanterns lit and the bottom line is they stopped praying.

It is not so much about the mind but about the heart.

[41] I receive glory not from men. [42] But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you. [43] I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. [44] How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek? [45] Think not that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one that accuseth you, Moses, in whom you trust.

[46] For if you did believe Moses, you would perhaps believe me also; for he wrote of me. [47] But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?
