Yes he is really there. Few times at adoration, i felt a presence there, when a priest takes off the big communion from the monstrance, it was like switching off as if you turn off the switch. Other days nothing like a blank- it doesn't happen very often unless Jesus chooses to show it to other people in various ways as reaffirmation of his true presence. Other occasion, i was kind of tense or a bad day, went into adoration, when that ended, i found myself calm coming out of the church. I found it's surreal.
