The center of the battle is the Catholic church where Jesus lives in Eucharist, not a city or building. That is why both Jerusalem and the Vatican can and will be destroyed, but it is the "church the pillar and and foundation of truth" (1 Timothy 3:15) that will stand throughout it all.

LV why are you making a presumption about what I have and have not read? You are coming across as someone who has the knowledge and nothing else is possible outside of what your belief is. The point I was trying to make and which seems to not have been made is that no one knows the truth of the matter of timeline of events nor events. Your views are just as plausible as Fatima's at this point in time because events have not unfolded yet. We do not have the fullness of prophecy nor truth yet. The truth is out there but clouded by much deception. Most false prophets will have much truth but only alter some teachings that will confuse and attempt to destroy. One can never be 100% certain without church approval. The sources of your truth do not have that yet so it would not be of sound prudence to be so certain. I enjoy reading your analysis on things but struggle to understand your certainty and really struggle with your attitude around other's views. Such strong stance on one's own opinion make it hard to take you as a credible witness to what could be truth.

    Pray: Credo in unum Deum...
then read the prophecies above. If you will see some contradictions, the prophecies are false... If not, you have duty to read them and do how was said in them

Little Voice, you have spoken against Garabandal in great contempt. You seem to think you have keen insight on prophetic discernment. Do you realize your assessment of Garabandal is contrary to three of our our modern day saints who expressed their total support for Garabandal (St. Padre Pio, St. John Paul II and St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta)? Are you more gifted in recognizing true prophecy then these great saints who not only believed in Garabandal, but knew the seers of Garabandal as well?

Those seers never said in a public setting they believed. Many saints have been decieved in the past about visions and/or other saints. I will not burst bubbles but those arguments are not very strong. Conchita saw something but there was a whole lot going on around there. Glenn can shout from mountain tops but there are a lot of holes in the vision. Having said that (without knowing Conchita). She is living obediently to the directives of the Catholic Church. Obedience leads to God.

Let's say you are right and all the substantial writings, letters, pictures and interviews that were done, with the 3 saints I mentioned, are all bogus and that Glenn is just a political hack for Garabandalists so he can get rich operating his Garabandal center and retire a millionaire. What one shred of evidence can you produce that will invalidate all that Glenn and the countless other have produced to the contrary. It takes no effort to be negative on any issue, but if anyone was to heed your advise they would have to be a denier themselves as they likewise could produce zero evidence to the contrary. I am a ice fisherman in the state of Minnesota and up here we would say you are walking on very thin ice on a hot spring day with your premise. :D

I know you're joking, but just so those who don't know you are, the reason Conchita has remained friends with me so long, is that I have followed her one main rule ,
NEVER SELL ANYTHING,OR TAKE A PENNY FOR WHAT YOU DO. Thus my conscience is clear.

Anyone who thinks Saint Pio could possibly be deceived, or that God would allow him to be deceived, (with the incontrovertible miraculous gifts he had bestowed upon him) , is only deceiving themselves.

    fallen saint:

Saint (Mother) Teresa. The famous Foundress of the Missionaries of Charity has never expressed any doubts about her profound belief in the divine origin of Garabandal:
"It was in 1970 that I heard about the apparitions of San Sebastian de Garabandal for the first time . . . From the beginning, I felt that the 'events' were authentic . . ."
(Letter of November 10, 1987 to Msgr. del Val ).

"Blessed" POPE PAUL VI AND GARABANDAL

The Blessed Virgin., in conversation with the young visionaries of Garabandal, mentioned the Holy Father ( Pope Paul VI ) on several occasions, and told them, "Pray, pray for the Pope" . It is an interesting fact that Pope Paul VI issued his encyclical "Mysterium Fidei" concerning "the weakening of devotion toward the Holy Eucharist" on September 3, 1965, only eleven weeks after Our Lady had complained, "Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist."

Early in 1966 Conchita was called to the Vatican. Gardinal Ottaviani, the pro-Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (Holy Office) had instructed Fr. Luna: "With or without the permission of the bishop, bring the young girls to me." During January 12-16 she was interviewed for 2 1/2 hours by the Cardinal and saw other members of the Congregation, afterwards she saw the Pope and gave him the date of the Great Miracle to come. She then paid a visit to Padre Pio, the famous stigmatist. Upon her return, at an audience in St. Peter's, the Holy Father came to her and announced joyfully in a clear voice, "Conchita, I, the Pope, bless you and with me the whole Church blesses you."

The November 7, 1968 bulletin of Peru's Legion Blanca under the imprimatur of Mgr. Alfonso Zapana Belliza, Bishop of Tacna, Peru, quotes the late Pope Paul VI as having said at a private audience these inspiring words: "Garabandal the most beautiful story of humanity since the birth of Jesus Christ! It is also the second sojourn of the most Holy Virgin on this earth, and we have no adequate words to express our gratitude."

Pope Paul VI had all the while shown a very special interest in the apparitions. At an audience given to Fr. Jose Escalda, S.J., the latter mentioned there were many opponents of the apparitions even amongst his own people. His Holiness promptly rejoined: "It doesn't matter; tell these gentlemen that it is the Pope who has said that it is most important and most urgent to make these messages known to the world."

On March 3, 1969, the Pope, replying to a letter ' sent to him by Mrs. N. Baco of the Anglo-French Centre, sent his Apostolic Blessing to her and to all "Garabandalists in England and Ireland."

In June 1969, Pope Paul VI sent his personnal blessing to Difurora Mariana of Mexico, along with the gift of a crucifix for every member of the Garabandal Centre there, encouraging them to continue promoting the messages of Garabandal.

On May 7, 1970, addressing a group of Garabandal pilgrims from St. Michael's. Garabandal Centre, Brockton, Mass., U.S.A., the Pope blessed their banner, saying, "Be in the Vanguard! Forward!" The following day L'Osservatore, the official Vatican newspaper, carried the news on the front page.

In 1975, Jacinta, the visionary visited Rome in order to gain the Holy Year indulgence. The then Bishop of Santander, Bishop dal Val, had given her a personal letter of introduction addressed to certain Cardinals of the Sacred Congregation. She was received with great kindness by Cardinal Ottaviani for 30 minutes. He told her, "Jacinta, I am with you, but we have to pray much and have much patience . . : it. is necessary to pray that the Church will become aware of the importance of Garabandal." .Cardinal Philippe who was presiding over a Bishops' Conference, left it in order to meet her and tell her, "I bless you in the name of the Madonna and I am fully with you. " She was also told, ' `It is very important that the four of you remain united. "

Pope John Paul II - on Garabandal

There is a book on Garabandal, written by Albrecht Weber in 1993, entitled Garabandal Der Zeigefmger Gottes (Garabandal: The Finger of God), of which a first edition copy was presented to Pope John Paul II. He later asked his secretary, Fr. (now Archbishop) Stanislaus Dziwisz, to write to the author. In the subsequent printing (2000) of the book, on page 19, a portion of the Pope's message is reprinted, as follows:"May God reward you for everything. Especially for the deep love with which you are making the events connected with Garabandal more widely known. May the Message of the Mother of God find an entrance into hearts before it is too late. As an expression of joy and gratitude, the Holy Father gives you his apostolic blessing."Weber writes, "From the attached greeting in the Pope's own handwriting, with his signature, it is clear how deep an interest he has in the events of Garabandal, and how anxious he is that they should be made known in a credible way."

On July 23, 1988, during a special general audience with the Pope at the Vatican ... "special" because it was held on Saturday, rather than the usual Wednesday... Father Robert introduced Garabandal Visionary Mari-Loli and family to him. Father Robert who was holding 7 year old Maria Dolores, one of the three Lafleur children, said to the Pope: "Your Holiness, a special blessing for your littlest children who come on behalf of The Blessed Virgin from Garabandal." Our Holy Father exclaimed "Garabandal!"

QUOTES ON PADRE PIO'S BELIEF IN GARABANDAL :Joey Lomangino’s recall of the when he talked to Padre Pio: “We made arrangements to come back again that same day and greeted Padre Pio in the cloister. When we knelt down, we said to him, “Padre Pio, is it true that the Virgin is appearing to the four girls of Garabandal?” And he said, “Yes.” We said, “Padre Pio, should we go there? He said, “Yes, why not?” And that’s how it happened. Because I received the assurance from Padre Pio that the Virgin was appearing and that he permitted me to go, then I wasn’t afraid and I went. “

(Saint) Padre Pio affirms Garabandal to a PH.D in confession.
Joachim Bouflet,PH.D. went to Padre Pio for confession in July of 1968. Padre Pio told him "Pray to the Madonna. Consecrate yourself to the Virgin of Carmel." "Yes, Padre, I pray to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. For that matter, I would like to become a Carmelite." He didn't comment on this but repeated with insistence, "Consecrate yourself to the Virgin of Carmel who appeared at Garabandal."
    "So it's true?"
"Certo e vero!" ("Yes, it's true!")

On March 3, 1962, a letter arrived in Garabandal addressed to all four visionaries from Padre Pio. The letter said:"My Dear Children,"At nine o'clock this morning the Holy Virgin told me to say to you: 'O Blessed young girls of San Sebastian de Garabandal! I promise you that I will be with you until the end of the centuries, and you will be with Me during the end of the world and later, united with Me in the Glory of Paradise. I am sending you a copy of the Holy Rosary of Fatima, which the Virgin told me to send you. The Rosary was composed by the Virgin and should be propagated for the salvation of sinners and preservation of humanity from the terrible punishments with which the good God is threatening it. I give you only one counsel: PRAY and get others to pray, because the world is at the beginning of perdition. They do not believe in you or in your conversations with the Lady in White. BUT THEY WILL BELIEVE YOU WHEN IT WILL BE TOO LATE"

From the book “The Final Hour “ page 141,On the topic of Padre Pio ‘s belief in Garabandal: Asked on another occasion about its authenticity, he answered curtly, ”How many times must she appear there to be believed ?

From the book “Thunder of Justice “ page 163 : An incident which confirms Padre Pio’s belief in Garabandal occurred early in 1966. Conchita, who was only 16 years old,was visiting Rome with her mother and Fr. Luna. She had been invited by Cardinal Ottaviani, Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith. During the visit,Conchita met privately with Padre Pio. On this occasion, he took Conchita’s hand and her crucifix that Our Lady had kissed in Garabandal and held them both in his own two hands. The crucifix had passed through the hands of the child Jesus, during the apparition of November 13,1965.

SO, in fact there were recorded " Public " statements from saints !

What? I believe in the authenticity of Garabandal. You believe in your predictions. I believe what Conchita said. But it can have other explanation as you claim. So when I said that Russia can not take over Europe (Conchita told World) without WWIII, somebody said, that Russia will take over Eastern Europe. So, do you not see, that this are only your speculations? You should claim "World" and not "Eastern Europe". I am greater Garabandalist than you, because I bring new logical explanation. I am no prophet because I described only current events in the vision of Garabandal. However you play on prophets when you claim that Eastern Europe will be occupied by Russia. Prophet Ezekiel said well about you, descendants of Gomer. Russians and Slavs, descendants of Madai are those who will fighting against heresies of the End of times according to Isajah.

I didn't know there was a competition on who is greater. I will concede to you on this if it serves your purpose. For me, Our Lady of Garabandal is the same person that I have come to know and love through our Lady of Fatima. I don't claim our Blessed Mother loves anyone greater than any other. She loves all her children the same. If we disagree on Russia and its good or evil intent upon the world, it does not make one of us greater than the other. We are all brother and sisters of the same God and the same Mother.

Thats sad...i respect Gienn and his apostolate. You can believe in whatever you want. Someone tried to use the argument of saints believing. Not really a good argument... but i just would have ignored it if it wasn't used to make someone look bad. You mentioned the money element...and i have never stated anything about money (I have about Medjugorji) i think i was polite and you started to assume or better word sepeculate my intentions.

It seems you brought out a picture of Glenn that is very sad.

We have went through this before. Many examples have been given of exremely mystical saints being on the wrong side of history. I won't use the words decieved but the saints are human...not magicians. Their graces come and go...for the Glory of God. And usually these Graces turn on to save or help specific goals.

I will not argue your quotes evethough many are third person. This is not my battle.

May God Bless you and your Apostolate.

I don't think i hate Russia. I think your government is slightly more corrupt then ours...but i actually have good memories of Russia. I enjoyed the proud people of the CCCP during the Olympics. I would even wear a black shirt with a white strip with CCCP. When i played sports. Even though i wasnt a communist, i respected what i saw in the olympics. And i think many in our generation might be more open to Russia then you might think. If i was in the government ...i would. As for the evils or good, CCCP did, i have no idea. But as a child i had found memories of olympic sports.

The Big Red Machine, The Miracle on the court 51-50. Boxing eventhough the judges cheated. And my all time favorite Vasily Alekseyev. When sports were real and not all this bulldung.

Some of my favorite memories when i was a kid. :)

I will leave it with this great moment.

This post is not very religious but it was a wonderful time in my life.

May God Bless the Russian People

fallen, there's nothing sad about me, what is sad is how ordinary folks on this site dismiss the greatest modern day saint's opinions, with such assurance.
