How sad to read that Pope Benedict XVI’s personal secretary stated in his memoirs that for the late pontiff, Traditionis Custodes was “a mistake” and that he read the text “with pain in his heart.” I wonder did he ever regret resigning?
https://www.gloriadei.io/articles/b...-validity-of-the-pontificate-of-pope-francis/ Excellent letter from His Excellency Bishop Schneider. God bless him.
There is a podcast called Catholic Unscripted. English Catholic journalists i think. I listened to it this afternoon and was struck by one of them quoting Michael Hitchborn. Referring to criticisms of Pope Francis and Fr Altman's recent declaration. He said the little boy called out "The Emperor has no clothes"---the truth that had to be spoken. But he never said he wasn't the emperor. IOW nobody is competent to decide such a thing but we must call out the truth regardless.
If Bishop Schneider is correct, then an even bigger problem lies with the bishops. They've stood by and done NOTHING these last 10 years while Francis has paraded a demon goddess around St. Peters and claimed it's the moral duty of all to take a poison vax for the good of the other. They've asked a few questions (the Dubia) but never required an answer. And NEVER have they ever corrected Francis as Bishop Schneider says they should do. If a father was forcing his children to worship demons and inject poison. I would think there'd at least be some loud yelling going on but these guys are mum. If these guys don't stand up for Bishop Strickland and against the synod, they likely don't care. They can posture and pontificate to pretend that they do, but it means nothing. Bishop Schneider: "The pope cannot commit heresy when he speaks ex cathedra, this is a dogma of faith. In his teaching outside of ex cathedra statements, however, he can commit doctrinal ambiguities, errors and even heresies. And since the pope is not identical with the entire Church, the Church is stronger than a singular erring or heretical Pope. In such a case one should respectfully correct him (avoiding purely human angerand disrespectful language), resist him as one would resist a bad father of family. Yet, the members of a family cannot declare their evil father deposed from the fatherhood. They can correct him, refuse to obey him, separate themselves from him, but they cannot declare him deposed."
I think Cardinal Muller deserves credit for releasing statements of doctrinal orthodoxy at opportune times, as a counter to the pope, but there are pitifully few others. Cardinal Sarah has been a major disappointment.
POPE & CLINTON FOUNDATION Clinton asked the Pope for two final comments, Francis replied: I am concerned about both, children and climate change. Please, let us act on climate change before it is too late. No mention of abortion at the pro-abortion Clinton Foundation - and he is worried about climate change. https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/...inton-initiative-children-climate-change.html
