Our Blessed Lady is launching the biggest D Day surprise of all time. She will break the back of Satan.

I have total, total confidence in her.

She is the best General ever. :)

This is so true andree. My father ( honestly maybe the wisest man I've known outside of holy people and saints) said to me in the early 60's--i think I was 13 at the time--that WWII had ruined families by pulling women out of the home. He had served in the Pacific. He was a patriot. But he felt mothers going to work had let a genie out of a bottle that could never be put back in.

Catholic Twitter Reacts Hotly as USCCB Sets ‘Woke’ Tone in Viral Synod Tweet
The USCCB has asked commenters to ‘let us know’ what Catholics think of these synod buzzwords.

    Matt Archbold BlogsJanuary 11, 2022
Nothing stirs the religious passions like talk of “accompaniment” and “inclusivity,” am I right? That’s what you might think if you were reading the USCCB’s Twitter account yesterday. Here’s what they tweeted:

    FIwLHtHXoAQNNXw.jpeg

A list of buzzwords? Come on. We’re Catholics. We have some of the coolest words ever to be uttered. Words like aspergillum, which sounds like a dangerous fungus but is actually a vessel used for sprinkling holy water during special blessings.

Transubstantiation? Grace? Forgiveness? Love? Sin? Redemption? Any of these words ringing a bell? These aren’t just awesome words. They are profound truths that stir the soul and elevate us.

If only there were a big book that the bishops had access to that was filled with wisdom and truth in quotable packaging.

But they opted to go a different way. Clearly.

Let’s just say the responses on Twitter weren’t exactly glowing. Actress Patricia Heaton led the way with this:

How about you adopt this attitude: “Christ shed his blood on the cross to save you, so attend with an attitude of repentance, humility, gratitude, joy and worship. Let your lips be full of praise for your savior Jesus.” Or “innovative outlook” I guess

Others, fearing that snark levels on Twitter were not at an all-time high, soon joined in:

    • “If you need 7 ... The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. They complete and perfect the virtues of those who receive them. They make the faithful docile in readily obeying divine inspirations” (@leahlibresco)
    • “With all due respect: Being myself neither a kindergartner nor in human resources, none of these free-floating buzzwords, absent context, do I find particularly inspiring. Perhaps words like ‘holiness,’ ‘fidelity,’ ‘perseverance,’ etc., might be worth bringing for the path ahead?” (@discerninganew)
    • “I’ll take Woke Talking Points for $1000.” (@0raetlabora1)
    • “Y’all need Jesus.” (@MorenoMalulani)
    • “These mostly sound like corporate buzzwords though up in a committee room, not anything that real people use.” (@BackwardsFeet)
    • “This is pure corporate-speak. Instead of vacuous business-like buzzwords why not use the original seven attitudes from the gospel namely the gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord?” (@bearspear)
    • “Sesame Street wants its aesthetic back, your excellencies.” (@aegswimmer)
    • “If you truly are being held captive in the HR Department, blink twice, we will send in a rescue team.” (@norton_tj)
This is what the internet calls being “ratioed.” This is indicative of a real problem in the Church. Many of us don’t even feel like we’re speaking the same language of our Church leaders. We don’t feel heard. We don’t feel listened to. And what do they offer us instead? Buzzwords.

The USCCB asked for dialogue. They got dialogue. At some point I hope and pray that we all get a little better at it.

It's a bit like your father taking you a walk around the Park and all the other kids are laughing and making fun of him. Worst of all you know your big Daddy has it coming to him.

All this makes me so sad and feeling orphaned.

I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you. 19Yet a little while: and the world seeth me no more. But you see me: because I live, and you shall live. 20In that day you shall know, that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them; he it is that loveth me. And he that loveth me, shall be loved of my Father: and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas saith to him, not the Iscariot: Lord, how is it, that thou wilt manifest thyself to us, and not to the world? 23Jesus answered, and said to him: If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and will make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not, keepeth not my words. And the word which you have heard, is not mine; but the Father's who sent me.

They will impose woke rules , language, etc. into catholic culture, yet they will not excommunicate the likes of the governor of New Jersey who signed a law allowing abortion up until birth.

We’ve seen the videos where a pregnant mother was thrown out of church for not wearing a face mask, yet pro abortion politicians are permitted to parade up the aisle for HOLY COMMUNION. Why is this allowed? Did the new woke language / priorities dismiss the commandment , “ Thou shall not KILL” or are they just conveniently ignoring it.

Change the language and you change the culture…and that’s what they are doing.

The so called catholic schools, elementary and high school are mostly a joke. It’s a blessing that high school tuition is $15,000 a year because most families can’t afford it and therefore their children aren’t corrupted by their anti catholic teaching. A good amount of anti catholic teaching is causing the children to lose their faith all together. Parents have tried to correct these issues only to be ridiculed by the administration. I know this because I was a very involved parent and fought the system in every way imaginable.

    My sentiments exactly Beth !

I too was a lone voice (it seems) in the catholic education system here in Australia; my children were subjected to blatant heresy at their Catholic junior and high schools in the 1980's, 1990's and early 2000's.

I was shocked and dismayed with what they were being taught and I tried to be the voice of truth, by writing letters to the school, ringing and complaining to those in authority, speaking in person to various members of the authority, consulting and updating my parish priest and even speaking with the bishop........all to little or no avail!
.......... although I did have some short term victories,

however these victories did little to stop the gigantic juggernaut which had besieged the Catholic Education system here in Australia it swept over all voices and opposition, like a giant tsunami!

My children are still paying the price of this diabolical deception of their catholic Schools, as we speak!

Lord Have Mercy on these school systems and their teachers and also on the souls of all those affected, including my children.

And Lord have mercy on their mothers souls, who were unable to save them from this deception at this time!

I think it is wonderful that God uses all of our sufferings, when we offer them up.
Offering them up really means we have joined them to Our Lords ultimate sacrifice! and He accepts them!

Thereby our poor sufferings become infinite!..... because they are united to His sufferings and His merit which are infinite!

    Thank you Jesus!

    Jesus we trust in Thee!

We trust in Thy Mercy and Love, Jesus!

We trust in Thy Silence and Abandonment, Jesus!

We trust in Thy Justice and Wrath, Jesus!

You are Lord and King, Jesus. :notworthy:

Sure up any of our human doubts, Dearest Lord!

    Josephine,

You have described my experience better than I could. The woke catholic teachers ( not all) and diocesan administrators who crafted the education programs in our schools were engaged in a catholic sham. I took the most basic violations of anti catholic incidents to administration and not only was I dismissed, my children were punished because I spoke up….and the repercussions of this experience has definitely negatively affected my children’s faith.
Other parents who were equally upset just pulled their children out of the schools altogether, both elementary and high school, and home schooled them. I was not able to do that, much to my regret.

It was horrible what they did and I pray God that He will correct the the negative fallout from those in our church and school and the damage they did.
If you have children in a catholic school…or any school, pay close attention to everything. You’d be shocked that the very things you’ve tried to instill in your children is often undermined at the very school you are paying to reinforce your faith.
This is not a inditement on all schools, but my diocese is run by very liberal administrators and it was a nightmare.

I suppose there is a lot of Mystery as to why God permits things.

I notice when reading, 'The Mystical City of God', by Venerable Mary of Agreda (an account of the Life of Our Lady) the goings on of Judas with the Apostles. The three years of the Apostles with both Jesus and Mary were rather like a very, very intense Seminary. Both Jesus and Mary took an intense personal interest in the twelve including Judas. Our Lady knew all about Judas (as of course did Jesus). Which leads of course to many questions. Such as why Jesus included Judas in first place and knowing as they both did what kind of person he was why Judas was allowed to continue. I think it was St Peter who mentioned Judas as a , 'Thief', stealing from the common funds. Which makes me wonder how Peter knew this.

It is so interesting in the lives of the Saints how very, very often bad clergy come forward, priests and nuns to attack the Saints. I mean really, really evil people. It reminds me of the old Greek Legend of the Dragon's Teeth. You sow the dragons teeth in the ground and an army of evil warriors spring from the ground. It is the same with the saints . As soon as a Saint appears an army of evil clergy always seems to spring from the very soil to fight them. All this springing back to Judas who was their Patriarch, so to speak.

It also reminds me of Scripture , in the Garden of Eden Eve is told that that she will stamp on the Serpent and that the Serpent will bite her heel. Evil clergy are like that biting at the heel of Mother Church. The Woman Clothed with the Sun Fighting the Dragon.

Bad things happen when communities are so big, the percentages are there.

Boston College, Catholic insitution, see things like this and what has happened at DePaul Univ. at a minimum, maybe Seton Hall too, should never happen.

Boston College Student Says Babies Who Survive An Abortion Should Die

That said, if solid Catholic educations can be obtained, that is of utmost importance, unfortunately, costs of tuition are usually high as well.
