Admonishing the sinner is not accusing one of Masonry to others, publicly, on the internet without the sinner present to respond. Nor is spreading such gossip. I am done with this forum. I don't think I will continue to post on this site. This forum used to be uplifting. For me, it is no longer so. I don't harbor any hard feelings. Please forgive me if I admonished too strongly...I certainly have much worse sins than anyone here. God bless you all.
Pointing out false teachings in charity and to make others aware of errors is part of the journey of faith, imho. You yourself stated that there was no hard proof. We have to look for that proof to see if it exists. Pope St Pius X battled Modernism and Freemasonry. He identified them so we now know what those errors are. That’s called research. It’s not for everyone. But this makes you uncomfortable. So be it. You have been through some hard trials on your faith journey and I am glad you posted from the Catechism. It was indeed helpful to me. God bless you and your loved ones as well. You don’t have to leave, you know. Edited: it could be said that there is not much that is uplifting these days. This is a powerful group of prayer warriors here whose friendships make my day.
However, just recently Archbishop Lori, of Baltimore, came out publicly and strongly against Biden’s attempts to help women obtain abortions. That is a HUGE step in the right direction. We are being sifted as wheat.
It is a bunch of mumble jumble! It is vague. Consider: The statement from the pontifical academy notes how the Court's decision shows how the issue of abortion continues to arouse heated debate, and demonstrates the need for adequate sexual education, accessible health care for all, and legislation to protect families and mothers. What on earth does the above highlight mean? A pro-abort could use similar words to defend abortion!
Well, Bishop Lori was part of the original vague document but as I posted above, he has written to condemn Biden’s work.
Bishop: Biden Abortion Actions ‘Deeply Disturbing’ July 11, 2022 by sd From Catholic News Agency: The chair of the U.S. bishops’ pro-life committee on Saturday called President Joe Biden’s executive order aimed at protecting abortion access “deeply disturbing.” “It is deeply disturbing and tragic that President Biden is choosing instead to use his power as President of the United States to promote and facilitate abortion in our country, seeking every possible avenue to deny unborn children their most basic human and civil right, the right to life,” Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore said July 9.
