BREAKING: Pope Francis reportedly set to ask Bishop Strickland to resign!

I’m waiting on the Lord. It’s exhausting to me to keep speculating.

 

He seems to come the closest since Bishop Sheen spoke those words but honestly I don't know. I just don't know. My only answer is to pray for his soul and mine and all others for whom I am obliged to pray.

The confusion within the Church is the primary warning sign for us. Not that we should speculate on whether the AntiChrist is out there presently, but that we should exercise our gift of fortitude: setting good example by remaining obedient to the Deposit of Faith and living out the corporal and spiritual works of Mercy. Three things remain: faith, hope, and charity, and the greatest of these is charity. The faith we talk about here on MOG is mostly the Deposit of Faith (content of what we know to be true). It would be a compliment to be called a diehard Catholic, but far better to be a called a faithful Catholic whose love impacts positively those with whom I interact in a way that draws them to the Two Hearts and to the Truth.

O Lord, may you work through me in such a way as to draw one soul a month to you. If we set such a goal among the most active 100 members on MOG, there would be 1300 new Catholics-in-the-making to give to Jesus by Christmas next year.

The Magi would be proud of us!

Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen! (the primary audience to whom I speak, is me, myself, and I)!

 

I think we can say this: Archbishop Sheen's prophesy, if you replace the word 'parliament' with the word 'synod', seems to perfectly describe what is being currently planned.
