I should also mention that the government this week voted through a bill making it an offence to be within a 100 metres of a hospital or doctors surgery where abortion is carried out, or women are referred for abortion, if you intend to pray or have any kind of a vigil. Only 10 TD's voted against. I am so disgusted and angry.

So so sad …..but it proves that evil is afraid of the power of prayer….they know praying in the Holy z name of Jesus can change the hearts of these poor women from having an abortion.

A newspaper came in the mail yesterday from our Bishop. He was telling how wonderful and smart Pope Francis is. Our Bishop, Kevin Rhodes was invited to be at the synod and had three pages of what it was all about and how wonderful it is. And how other Popes have had synods through the years, etc.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, but I see a big schism on the horizon.

I have started praying the Chaplet of Tears. I remember praying it many years ago and had forgotten all about it but now I find it so meaningful. Such a simple prayer but so beautiful to offer Jesus the pain and sufferings and tears of his dear Mama.
'Ó Jesus I offer you the tears of the one who loved you most on earth and who loves you most ardently in Heaven'
And then on the 7 small beads
'Pardon and Mercy through the tears of your Holy Mother'.

I really think people believe what they want to and not what they should. Jesus said He is the way, the Truth, and the Light. We can’t live in a gray world anymore we must follow the light. From the things the Pope says it puts the world in gray. People are believing what they want to thus appeasing their guilty conscience. There is a reason for obedience. There is right and wrong. It says in the Bible that the end times good will be bad and bad will be good. It’s so obvious this is happening right now. Just gotta plant our feet, do the right thing, and persevere. BTW, my diocesan newspaper was a slow walk to the garbage can.

I can't even watch Fr Altman - God bless him he seems to be so unhinged at times and emotional. I feel for him, I really do but he is out of his depth. He needs many prayers.

“[Satan] will set up a Counter-church, which will be the ape of the Church. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content…. The False Prophet will have a religion without a cross. A religion without a world to come. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit Church. Christ’s Church will be one, and the False Prophet will create the other. The false Church will be worldly, ecumenical, and global. It will be a loose federation of churches and religions, forming some type of global association, a world parliament of Churches. It will be emptied of all divine content; it will be the mystical body of the Antichrist. The Mystical Body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot, and he will be the False Prophet. Satan will recruit him from our bishops.”—Archbishop Fulton J Sheen, Communism and the Conscience of the West, Indianapolis, Bobbs-Merrill, 1948, pp. 24–25.
This certainly sounds like exactly what is happening with our current Pope. Do you think he is he actually the "false prophet" that Archbishop Fulton Sheen is speaking of here?
