Pope Francis proposes to meet Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill in Moscow: report - LifeSite (lifesitenews.com)

...“The Pope proposes to meet Patriarch Kirill without delay at one of Moscow’s airports, Domodedovo or Vnukovo, when he flies to Mongolia. Then he will have to refuel in Moscow at one of the airports,” Leonid Sevastyanov, chairman of the World Union of Old Believers (WSU), apparently told TASS on Sunday.
Sevastyanov cited a personal conversation with the Pope, saying, “The airport is considered a transit zone, it’s neutral, it would not provoke opposition from those who oppose the pontiff’s visit to Russia. If there is a response from the Patriarch, such a meeting could take place on August 31 on the Pope’s way to Mongolia. Or on his way back on September 4.”

So the issue is political, some in power don't want the Pope to visit, but "the airport is considered a transit zone [ and] neutral."

Wow, this may be the moment we have been reading so much about.

I take apparitions following upon Fatima with a grain of salt. I found out about Garabandal in 1986 through a friend from prayer group. Then in 1987 our family made a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. So those two have impacted my life more than any others. Either way, I try to not get riled up too much. However, the world situation has deteriorated so quickly I've come to long for Divine intervention. May the Warning, though it be personally heartrending, come soon.

Thus I pray that souls will be saved, WWIII averted, and the Chastisement avoided.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Considering that Pope Francis wants to create a calendar to honor the memory of non-Catholic martyrs during the Jubilee, could this be the subject of a possible meeting between the two? in view of ecumenism and a possible common martyrology to be celebrated in both churches (without changing a single point of their doctrines)?

  7. [QUOTE="joseph gregory, post: 423314, member: 7379 There is a good chance Mario, that you will have two out of three of your wishes granted .

    1. Souls will be saved.

    2. Given humanity’s track record of perseverance in virtue, however, I doubt if the conditional Chastisement will be avoided. None of the conditions for this have been met and we are poor in keeping resolutions. Yet Glenns comment still stands
“……..its still MOST important to remember what Mary called it " The Conditional Chastisement". ONLY WE make it unconditional, not God.”

    3. As for WWIII, The Blessed Mother promised three times that it would not happen. We will have wars and rumours of wars as hostilities break out but there will not be a WWIII as presented in WWI and WWII.

I believe that sudden and unexpected strategic deployment (albeit limited) of nuclear weapons by Russia to destroy Paris as prophesied by Fr Pel ,visionary, could be used to quickly terrorise the West into submission. Of course France already is in the cross hairs having provided Ukraine with long range missiles.
“French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday that SCALP missiles, capable of striking the Russian army at long range, would be delivered to Ukraine. Western countries had previously been hesitant to fulfil Ukraine’s long-standing request for these weapons for fear of escalating the conflict.”

  8. Hi PF
In answer to your questions. As far as I know, Conchita did not say the Pope would be meeting someone nor did she she say what the purpose of the stop in Moscow would be. No pope has ever gone to Moscow. I do not know if any other papal plane has ever stopped at any of Moscow’s airports. Interesting question. Best ask Glenn. So the round trip could encompass the prophesied visit. You have a good mind. All we know is that the Pope is going to Moscow and returning to The Vatican. I always believed he would try to broker peace. Now I am not so sure. The mystery of prophesy is in its unfolding.

There are five international airports just outside Moscow.

However there is a central transport hub near the Kremlin called 'Airport' (Aeruport) were most travellers transit from and too.

  10. Thank you Padraig
I could only find the following
    https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Nearby-Airports/Moscow
The nearest was only 31 minutes away from the Kremlin. Right next door. I could not find the transit hub but I know your computer skills far exceed mine.

It is interesting that Kiril does not live in Moscow as we might well think. He would have to fly in himself, Russia is such a huge country.

So meeting at a transit point would make sense. All roads lead to Rome.

All roads lead to Mosco w.

The transit hub in the centre of Moscow is not an airport though it is called, ' Airport', it is confusing.

It is because it is the centre point for all airports transi ting into the city.

A transport hub. Not an airport bu t where all the people from all the airport's come.

A very obvious meeting point ( but not to non Muscovites) or those unfamiliar with the place.

  15. perhaps this is it:
    wiki

Aeroport (Russian: Аэропо́рт, IPA: [aɪrɐˈport]) is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. Its name, literally meaning airport, owes to the nearby Khodynka Aerodrome, Moscow's first airport, no longer in operation.[1] Now, there is a bus terminal (Goraerovokzal, Гораэровокзал) which has regular service to Moscow's principal airports. “

Pope Pius XII who in my opinion was a saint said of the Italian invasion of Ethiopia at the start of the Second World War ( which was one of the most unjust colonial wars in history) that ,

'Italians deserved their place under the sun'.

Well he was very wrong. It was evil. A false patriotism can drive folks nuts. As for instance in saying,

' My country right or wrong.

Italian Pontiffs can be as guilty of this as Russian Patriarches.

It is a matter of historical perspectives.

    Yes.

But I don't see why the aerodrome itself could not be used. For just two incoming flights officially closed or not.

Plus it's right next door to the Kremlin. Airports are just landing strips.

It gives them both complete privacy and gives them immediate communication with the Kremlin, only a stone's throw away.

  19. I have been reading the early comments in MOG on the Popes visit to Ukraine, Russia, China, Communism , including some by our friend Mac (RIP) (with whom I often was in conflict) which even alludes to the reign of the AC.
    Here is one of Mac’s
“The name of the book is Day of Wrath: The Hand of God Upon An Empire. The revelations were made to an Armenian Jew, one Zachary, who was later baptized a Catholic. This book, published in the early 1850s, contains revelations (made to Zachary in the 1840s) concerning the precise dimensions of the communist empire, Russia and China and their satellites. It says that there would be the détente; that an agreement would be reached between the capitalist West and the Marxist East.

Then, says the prophecy, the communists would overcome the West, by firing their missiles— they would fire their missiles — and the word “missiles” was used in the 1840s! They would fire their missiles on the coasts of North America — from the direction of Russia and China — and the Western world would be brought into bondage, after which “the firstborn of hell will rule the world.”
