You know long ago when this full blown out apostasy kicked off I was totally lost.
What to do? What to say? So I went to Our Lady in prayer and asked her for advice. The adivce I got back was surprisingly simple. Use your spiritual common sense. If something is wrong say it is wrong, if something is right, say it is right. I have followed this advice ever since and it has brought me the greatest peace.

I believe we are in the middle of the greatest sell out in the Church's history since Judas brought the temple guards to the Garden of Gethsemane to arrest Jesus. It is as simple as that, nor does it trouble me in the least to say so.

The proof that what I write is correct is this. Regard the words of Jesus regarding the Church, that the Church is the salt of the Earth:

    Matthew 5:13

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

We are that salt, the Church. We are in the process of loosing our savour through generalised apostasy led from the very top. So we are about to be thrown out and trampled underfoot as the English Church was at the time of Henry 8th.

People tend to see the fate of the world and the fate of the Church as two seperate entities. Not so.

It is the apostasy of the Popes and Cardinals that is about to bring the full force of the storm and tribulation upon our heads. That Catholic people, Bishops and preists in general have acceded to this apostasy if only by their silence in the face of great evil.

They have sown the wind we about to harvest the whirlwind. This is what Pope Francis and his fellow Apostate Churchmen have brought on our heads.

God is not mocked. We are about to find that out big time.

I for one, do not believe Pope Francis is a "wicked" man as your biblical quote and your unchristian picture of the pope falling with a lamp in his hand tries to indicate. Confused on some marriage and family issues, yes. He needs our prayers, not out slander. I would not even treat my family members and friends who are likewise confused or deceived with unchanging truths with such words. Love is still called for. Love does not do this. We may have the truth within us, but without love it is of no avail.

Lets be truthful, some posts that attack the Pope, ridicule his name and some pictures that mock the Holy Father is not from God.

    :(

I posted a picture of St Peter's being struck by lightening? Did you suppose from this that I was mocking Holy Mother Church? Of course not for you would have said so. I take it from this that you since you knew I did not mock the Church you knew I was indicating that it may have been a Sign.

Yet I posted the picture of the Pope falling you decided somehow or other that I was 'mocking ' the Pope rather than indicating as I diid in the first picture that it may have been ia sign from God.

You misjudged me in this because of the anger in your own heart which drove you to a false conclusion. The evil only existed in your own heart , not mine.

On your head be it then. You accuse me of uncharity and lack of judgement yet demonstrate them yourself through lack of control and serious lack of judgemnt showing deep uncharity towards myself in miscontruing something entirely innocent. The evil in your own heart driving you to see an evil in mine that wa not there. May God forgive you for this.

On your own head be it. May God be my judge I had not intention to mock the Holy Father. I await an aoplogy but will not get one. Rage drives you onwards. No Pope needs this llander and lack of charity and judgement on this scale to , 'defend ' him. How the devil must laugh.

    May God forgive you.

Those who are not evil will persih , thsoe who are not evil wil lflourish.

When I want to call the Poep , 'Wicked' , you will be the first to know. You drew the inference , I did not. You dance with shadows. If I wanted to call the Pope , 'Wicked' , make no mistake I would do so in the clearest and most uncertain terms.

You are tilting at straw men of your own creation.

Why are you plcing these words and thoughts in my mouth?

    Padraig,

I have to admit you're honest. When your wielding the sword of a prophet, you shave very close; but, then your sensitive heart reaches out to Fallen Saint.:)

Anyway, I extracted the above quote from one of your posts. In the highlighted section, do you include Pope Francis as one of the apostate Churchmen or is Francis being deluded by those around him?

It is a scary thing to look upon the Vicar of Christ as an Apostate.

Certainly, we are now reaping the whirlwind!:( But through it all, Our Lady will triumph! Praise be to God!

Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!

    I honestly don;t know Terry and that's the truth. I think we all owe a duty of charity to all men but especially to the Holy Father. So I do my very best tothink the very best. When I think of the Pope , any Pope ,even the evil ones of the past I feel a kind of Holy awe fall upon me, for the hand of God was upon them. You will recall perhaps that the Italian poet Dante Alighieri (who some have pressed for canonisation) placed several Popes as being in hell in his 'Divine Comedy';

    http://danteworlds.laits.utexas.edu/circle8a.html

    Circle 8, subcircles 1-6, cantos 18-23

(This alluding to Pope Nicholas 111)

'Nicholas is the simonist pope who, because he is upside down in a hole, mistakenly believes Dante to be Pope Boniface VIII, somehow present in the third pit several years before his time (Inf. 19.52-7). When the confusion is cleared up, Nicholas informs Dante that he foresees the damnation (for simony) of not only Boniface VIII but Pope Clement V as well. Born into the powerful Orsini family of Rome, Giovanni Gaetano was appointed head of the Inquisition (1262) before being elected pope--taking the name Nicholas--in 1277. Nicholas expanded papal political control by adding parts of Romagna, as far north as Bologna and Ferrara, and he forged a compromise in the Franciscan movement between the moderates and the radical spiritualists. He was known, on the one hand, for his high moral standards and care for the poor, and on the other for his shameless nepotism (derived from the Italian word--nipote--for nephew, niece, and grandchild): Nicholas himself states that he was guilty of favoring the "cubs" in his family (Orsini, the family name, translates to "little bears"; Inf. 19.70-2)--he in fact filled positions for three new cardinals with relatives and appointed other relatives to high posts in the papal state. Nicholas died in 1280 and was buried in St. Peter's in Rome.'

Also, of course Pope Boniface v111

    http://www.shmoop.com/inferno/pope-boniface-8.html

Even though Pope Boniface VIII never physically shows up in the Inferno, he's a major figure, both in Dante’s political life and as a symbol of sin. Boniface would have served nicely as Dante’s prime antagonist... if only our poet been able to include him in his story. Don’t think that Dante excluded Boniface from Hell out of some outpouring of generosity. This Pope not only betrayed Dante’s beloved White Guelphs, but had Dante personally exiled. (In case you were wondering, Ciacco tells this story in prophecy form in Canto VI.)

The only reason Dante didn’t include him was that at the time of Dante’s writing, Pope Boniface VIII was still alive. But such is Dante’s genius that he can flesh out a character for his readers without actually having him once show his face. However, his name makes a number of appearances. Five, to be exact.

Boniface’s role as an emblem of deceit begins with the first obscure allusion to him in Canto III. In the circle of the neutrals, Dante spies a soul he calls the one "who made the great refusal." Scholars have conjectured this character to be Pope Celestine V, the incumbent pope before Boniface (learn more). History tells us that the only reason Boniface came to office was that Celestine suddenly and unexpectedly resigned. Rumors flew that Boniface planted doubts into Celestine’s head in the months prior to his abdication. If this is true, as Dante no doubt believes, it demonstrates an insincere use of language. That’s right—a fraudulent sinner! Since Boniface’s words are uttered to gain him a position of political power, that would mean eighth circle, sixth pouch.

I like to think the best whilst osmetimes fearing the worst. God will judge. THere is not a whole lot we can do except prayer and penace anyway.

But I do belive that what is about to befall us is a direct result of what certian devils are uop to in Rome. By devils I mean rela devils and devil incante dressed up as Cardinals both.

But yes Our Lady will Triumph .she has said so.

But when you see the City of Rome on fire again, recall these days and know it is not by chance.

God is not mocked, not even by those who call themselves most His own.

    That didn't take long ;)

Rome shaken after earthquake hits central Italy

Rome's historic centre has been shaken by a strong earthquake in central Italy - just months after a quake in the same area killed hundreds.

One resident who lives near St Peter's Square said she "felt the apartment shaking and the walls cracking".

There are reports of panicked residents leaving their apartments and rushing onto the streets.

Officials at the Foreign Ministry evacuated their building and a landslide forced a section of the Salaria highway north of Rome to close.

The epicentre of the 5.4-magnitude quake was Macerata, about 140 miles northeast of the capital, according to Italy's National Vulcanology Centre.

Tremors were felt from Perugia to Rome, and also in the town of L'Aquila - hit by an earthquake in 2009.

There were reports of pieces of building falling and some power lines coming down but no immediate word of any injuries, said Ornella De Luca, spokeswoman for the civil protection agency.

The quake struck at 7.10pm local time, with the US Geological Survey (USGS) locating it at a relatively shallow depth of six miles

It comes just two months after an earthquake in the same area killed nearly 300 people and destroyed hilltop villages.

USGS seismologist Paul Earle said today's earthquake was actually an aftershock from that event, but 11 times weaker based on the energy released.

I think I have already answered your question. Why would a loving person (as all followers of Christ are called to be) place a large picture of the Vicar of Christ, with lamp in hand falling) with a scripture passage that speaks of a "evil man has no future and the lamp of the wicked will be put out"? One need not place words in your mouth when the picture and words posted says it all. If I am wrong then it is up to you to explain why you posted such a picture and scripture verse. As a picture paints a thousand words.

When I look at the Holy Father falling I see the 3rd, the 7th and the 9th stations of the cross.

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

Jesus, the cross you have been carrying is very heavy. You are becoming weak and almost ready to faint, and you fall down. Nobody seems to want to help you. The soldiers are interested in getting home, so they yell at you and try to get you up and moving again.

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

This is the second time you have fallen on the road. As the cross grows heavier and heavier it becomes more difficult to get up. But you continue to struggle and try until you're up and walking again. You don't give up.

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

Jesus, your journey has been long. You fall again, beneath your cross. You know your journey is coming to an end. You struggle and struggle. You get up and keep going.

My Jesus, by all the bitter woes Thou didst endure when the heavy cross bowed Thee to the earth, never, I beseech Thee, let me fall again into sin. Ah, my Jesus, rather let me die than ever offend Thee again.

Our Father.... Hail Mary.... Glory be to the Father....

Oh Jesus who for Love of me,
Did bear Thy cross to Calvary,
In Thy sweet Mercy grant to me,
To suffer and to die for Thee.

I ahve already answered this, because I take it as a Sign. The evil is the evil that is coming to us from the very top now in Rme. Which has become a poisoned well.

I believe God permits this evil as a testing to the Faithful . Those goats who drink of the poisoned well will die, but as Jesu siad 'I know my sheep nd my own know me'. The Faithful seeing the well is poisoned will not drink of the poisoned waters.

By a strange set of circumstances, I was a guest at a friend's house today for a private lunch with Bishop Schneider. He is a good, kind, gentle and holy bishop but he is uncompromising in defending the Faith, even if it must be defended from the words of the Pope himself. Silence is not an option.

I was a guest of a good friend, a theologian who is part author and one of the 45 theologian signatories of the filial appeal addressed to the College of Cardinals regarding the heresies and errors of the recent apostolic exhortation that summarized the two Synods.

Bishop Schneider gave the week long retreat this summer to the Norbertine Abby where my son is a novice. Frater Silvan had scheduled private time to have a personal conversation with him during his week long retreat. The bishop remembered him well and told me to convey his best wishes. Wow. What a week!

    View attachment 5521

Bishop Schneider said at lunch that he expects God might intervene very soon in the world and in the Church due to the obvious.

(@fallen saint, I think you'd be surprised by the thinking of the vast majority of those Norbertines. And when I post, I'm pretty well informed about the issues near and dear to me. It's not just private/personal opinion but the fruit of extensive study and discussion with men much brighter, holier and well informed than I.)

I know the Order of Mormontant more then you think. And having a founding member of Opus Dei as my spiritual director makes me more spiritually conservative then most people on this forum.

Their spirituality is very close to my heart.

But...One of the Norbinetines Core beliefs is obedience to the Holy Father.

But visiting Bishop Schnider is a highlight I haven't had. You are very lucky.

Wow Brian! I would have loved to have had the chance to be at that table. You are very lucky! Though I suspect "luck" doesn't actually have much to do with it. I truly hope the Bishop is right and God intervenes soon. I can't imagine what shape the Church and the world will be in if this goes on for 10 or 15 years more.

As you know I recognize the problems that are going on. I see them very clearly. I saw them right when I returned to the faith 2 years ago. In fact you and Mac played a big part in my conversion to the faith though you didn't know it at the time. I found MOG very shortly after my reversion and the posts the two of you were putting up rang true even if they were in a very forceful manner at times. The two of you were shouting from the rooftops here before anyone else was doing it. Thank you both for all of your efforts. I am sure I am not the only one who you both have alerted to the crisis.
