Thanks for your balanced approach to the alleged apparitions. You are obviously correct that the bishop is the authority, given to him by the Church. Please don't feel that you are wasting everyone's time here, there are many reading this that are still learning the facts and sorting truth from fiction/fantasy.

I have just written a very long and very clever (ha ha) reply opposing Richard and his kind and supporting Glenn. I was just about to post it and it disappeared. Gutted. It was so erudite. It took me ages. So brilliant was it I would probably have been awarded the Pulitzer prize for it. ( I hope you understand I am joking) Anyway to keep it simple Richard has once again wasted my time. Glenn knows what he is talking about and is absolutely accurate in his reports. I hope Richard and his supporters, on the other hand, do not hurt Our Lady's messages further by their attitudes and actions. They are wrong. Plain and simple. Whether Richard and his mates are more knaves than fools is not my call. If I see them them surfacing after the warning I fear I will be inclined to push them back under.

 

You missed the point here totally. I NEVER said the Bishop doesn't have the authority ! I said Saint Pio was a better spiritual judge of the apparitions validity, and you guys have the audacity to say one of our greatest saints whom God blessed with supernatural gifts, can make an error in a spiritual wisdom ? RIDICULOUS ! ( May Padre Pio forgive you , how insulting)

I proved FACTS that the Bishop's OWN COMMISSION turned against him ! His priest Dal val Gallo resigned in protest, the doctor DR. Morales, publically refuted the Bishop and called the investigation " A FARCE " ! The head of the POLICE Juan Seco declared in writing publicly that the Bishop was holding a fraudulent investigation,because he interviewed NO ONE , NO REPORT was ever filed with the Vatican, and yet you and Richard provide NO FACTS to support your opinions, and say I'm misleading people ??? You two can blindly ignore the facts , the only fantasy is in your head.

Show me where I'm wrong in anything I said I WANT PROOF, FACTS , not your baseless opinions.

 

There's no fight here, I'm still waiting for him to come out of his corner and throw a "fact filled punch " , but obviously, that won't be coming anytime soon. We'll refund your ticket price , this is a sleeper

 

I have no dog in this fight and I have only half been paying attention to this thread so forgive me if I am going down the wrong road her. I am not on either side. It is my understanding that bishops are given a special grace of discernment for apparitions that happen in their diocese. I read this somewhere, but I would never be able to find it again. Has anyone else come across this?

 

I have not heard that,but my point is that this one particular Bishop did not conduct a legitimate investigation, and his own commission said so ! I don't understand how this doesn't matter to people ?

It is nice that Joe holds you at such a high esteem

But saints make mistakes...just like you and me. That includes padre pio. To say padre pio is greater then anyone goes against padre pio' own spirituality.

Everything is Gods will...if he wanted the vision to be accepted, it would have already happened. Maybe it has to suffer to be accepted.

And obedience has not what-ifs or buts...if the Bishop said no, we must accept no. Isn't that what Conchita is doing. Isn't that what the other seer is doing. They are being obedient and understand everything happens in Gods time.

So, Glenn...you are doing a wonderful apostolate...Our Holy Mother would be very pleased. But if it disturbs your peace... then something is not right. If people didn't believe Jesus...what do you think will happen with us.

Enjoy Conchita and Garabandal...continue your apostolate but its one soul at a time. I think its good there is a voice in the desert but stop trying to knock people out. Maybe you should jab and run...to fight another day.

WOW, here we go another attack,so bring it on. First, IF you think you or any of us is no better ( or spiritually wise ) than Padre Pio, your sadly mistaken . When was the last time you read souls or bi-located, you guys make me laugh. I pray all of you get to meet Saint Pio one day and tell him he's no better than you.

The Vatican is waiting for the prophecy to be fulfilled since it hasn't happened yet, you act as if everything is finalized. If it wasn't from God, it would have been condemned and it NEVER was,another point you are wrong about. The Bishop didn't have the evidence or the guts to try and condemn it, so he ruled Non-constat de supernaturalitate - It is not certain that the events are of supernatural origin. You are also wrong about the girls, no one told them to stop talking, they have said all that could be said,there's nothing to add.

I'm not trying to "knock people out", just defend the truth,and maybe that's why God picked me, I don't give up ,give in, hide or run when the going gets tough, and I have to deal with people who spread misconceptions or outright lies about Garabandal. So, if you don't like me or my ways, don't come to argue and expect me to not to defend myself or the truth . Here's some advice for you
ACTS 5 :39 "But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it, lest perhaps you be found even to fight against God. "

If I'm wrong, what harm have I done , asked people to amend their lives and live as better Catholics ,as Mary asked in her messages. But you guys, better have your excuses ready . As Ricky Ricardo used to say to Lucy " you got some 'spainin to do ".

 

Padraig, this thread is gone wayyyyy off topic, time to stop the non sense or close it down. I asked 3 times for it to stop, and it hasn't.

 

I think this is all starting to sour a little. I think we'll freeze this thread.

But I very much like what was said about silence. I often think the best result to silence.
