Thank you for your response, Garabandal. I was responding your comment about there being no "armchair" saints. I took what you said concretely, i.e. literally. Thus my list. But, you beautifully defined that if one's will is to do the Will of God, one can be in a hospital bed, or a wheelchair doing spiritual works of mercy, such as offering one's suffering for the salvation of souls, or praying for the living and the dead.

    Blessings.

Dear David, I was responding to Garabandal's comment, in the form of a series of questions, to better understand what she was saying. Sorry if it caused you distress. I was not criticizing Pope Francis.

However, I do disagree with the author of the article, in his choice of title. Indeed one can share God's love from an armchair, a wheelchair and even a hospital bed. Not everyone, as I am sure you would agree, can practice corporal works of mercy, but one may still unite one's will to God's will and do spiritual works of mercy, sharing their love for one's neighbor.

    Blessings.

Whose love was Emma Bonino spreading with her bicycle pump and jam jar? The love of the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life? Is there another God the Holy Spirit who promotes and campaigns for abortion on demand? Has Pope Francis had revealed to him a second Holy Spirit hidden in the Gospel?
