If we are down right forced to take one I might consider taking this one. Although more ethical and more like a traditional vax I still question it's safety and effectiveness and the whole totalitarian forced idea. If no one resists we are all in trouble and few realize this. Who knows if it will even be available when others are widely available. I read Novavax was working on a covid 19/seasonal flu jab so that doesn't sound good to me. Billions of spike proteins infecting millions of healthy cells throughout veins, arteries and all major organs to fight a virus that rarely goes further than your nose and throat is shear madness. He’s sometimes teaching another gospel, in addition to political shenanigans. Many Catholics give him the benefit of the doubt because what he preaches overlaps with the gospel. For example, he claims the poor are at the heart of the gospel. But reading all 4 gospels, the gospel does not center around the economically poor. That’s incredible to claim. Yes, you should care for the poor if you truly love your neighbor. But only Judas tried to reproach the woman for anointing the Lords feet instead of feeding the poor. Or when he claims that it is wrong to intellectually convince anyone of the truth of the gospel, based on my understanding it is a command of Jesus to baptize and teach all nations. If you really loved your neighbor, you would want to save his soul.
Mark is/was the last hold out. Charitable and patient. If he is closing the curtain....well....its not good.
I wanted to share something on this, hopefully it's not too negative. I look to Scripture, the life of Christ, the Holy Family and the people of Israel for understanding. Mass deaths of children happened at least twice in the Bible: in the OT, just before the people of Israel were liberated from bondage in Egypt (the 10th plague) and in the NT, just after the Holy Family fled to Egypt. In both cases, those deaths occur close to a liberation or escape. We've had 40 years of Medjugorje and that period can be seen like a gestation period (40 weeks) or years of increased bondage like when Israelis were in Egypt. Is scripture telling us that what comes next is mass deaths of some sort before liberation happens? This would fit with similar events in scripture. Sr Emmanuelle of Medjugorje revealed in one of her videos that she once said to Vicka that it will be so wonderful when the multitudes come to Medjugorje for the miracle, and that Vicka replied something like, yes those who are still alive then will come to Medjugorje for the miracle. Her response suggested that before this event, a great many would die. In the Valtorta books that I love to read, Jesus points out that before the massacre in Bethlehem, the Holy Family had been refused a place to stay despite St Joseph pleading with so many for a roof for his expecting spouse. The implication was that the tragedy on the children was a consequence of the rejection of the Holy Family by the adults of the town. It's like today isn't it? Apparitions occur time and time again, we are asked to do certain things and we haven't truly done what is requested. For example, how many in the Church do the First Satuday devotions? So is God letting this happen or are we just going to reap the consequences of what we have sown? The only comfort that I can see in this is that in both cases of these stories in scripture, the people of God were able to flee shortly before or afterwards...
These are interesting and provocative thoughts. I think God both allows and we initiate our own punishments. All sin contains within it a punishment I think. It manifests in different ways and depends I suppose on the severity of the sin and whether it is repented for---but what we are seeing all around us is in so many ways a direct result of our refusing God. Our culture has for years now been disinviting God. He coerces no one. We have the world that "we" have asked for(those of us who believe and follow Him deplore what we see but the punishment falls on the just and unjust alike as Our Lady of Akita warned)--the majority of souls right now seem content with their sin. They have codified it into law. Those who object are "canceled."
My heart breaks for you…and everyone in this position. I may soon be in this position as well. Like you, I will refuse it. I have a small hope left that there will be successful lawsuits making this mandate unconditional. Companies or the government may need to reimburse the loss income of those who were forced to quit their jobs if these suits are successful. This may well happen. Who knows. But they were saying in January this past year that it would be absolutely apparent within 2 months. I think we must be careful of these shifting goal posts. Its very possible other equally credentialed doctors are right and nothing of the sort will happen. I am increasingly suspicious of these fear tactics on both sides.
