I agree with you about not accepting anything on face value. Discernment is difficult, at best. Wish I had more to add to this discussion, but I don't. As Julia says, "Keep watch and pray."
Pope Francis postpones Lebanon visit over knee ailment Pontiff hobbled by acute pain, but trip expected to go ahead after short delay; visits planned for July still on schedule https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ti...postpones-lebanon-visit-over-knee-ailment/amp/
Indeed, there doesn’t seem to be much more to add here, but as the summer of 2022 rolls on, we could be in for some major developments with respect to the Russia—Ukraine war and the continuing crisis in the South China Sea involving China, Taiwan, and the United States. The issue would then be, how will Pope Francis respond.
I think China is going to take their pound of flesh during this time as well. Look for them to take Taiwan during the fall.
After Taiwan legalized homosexual marriage around 2017, I knew there is no stopping a Chinese invasion now...
Or perhaps around late summer. A message attributed to the alleged “Our Lady of the End Times” said that the Philippines will also be invaded….☹️
Russia made certain logistical mistakes in the war with Ukraine that prevented it from making a more efficient and faster military campaign, I believe that China is studying this point and everything else that involves the strengths and weaknesses of both sides in the war, I I even think that the recent strict lockdown in China is a subliminal way of preparing the population for a sense of good logistics in the event of long rationing times; deprivation and confinement if there is an electromagnetic pulse war with another country.
The threat from mainland China existed way before then and it was only a matter of time, regardless of whether or not homosexual marriages were legalized. Incidentally, I’m scheduled to transit through Taiwan next month en route to the Philippines….
Thanks. Keeping my fingers crossed that the long awaited war doesn’t break out when I’m there or else I’ll be stranded….I have a return flight scheduled for July 29.
I will keep you in my prayers. We have flown in and out of Taiwan several times. They are extremely efficient and helpful. It is a lovely country.
This is my first time. In the recent past, I would transit either through mainland China, HK, or South Korea….
