It looks terrible but I think we need to take a step back and bear in mind that Vatican diplomacy has a better insight into the movers and shakers in the world than we or the average Catholic blogger or pundit could possibly have.

There are great changes coming to the world. Maybe the Vatican diplomats can see where the wind of change is blowing and all this lovey dovey, brotherhood of man, inclusive, take care of the planet stuff is their attempt to offset the worst of it.

I had never heard of Richard Wolff until this Lex Fridman interview came up on my YouTube feed. It's a long interview - about two hours - and both the man and what he was saying gave me the creeps. If you have the time and the patience, it's worth listening to. The most frightening part for me was that much of what he was saying seemed to be a fairly accurate description of where we're at in the West. He's like the cat that got the cream. Note how he only mentions Communists being hard done by, yet Marxists can't really be blamed for anything because they're really only on a learning curve and will eventually get it right as Marx would have wanted.

I followed some of the links to the pages of people he is or has been associated with. It's like a who's who of anti-Christianity.
There are times I shake my head at these people who have so much influence on young minds, encouraging them to mock the faith and values of their parents, while the same influencers are often very proud of carrying the torch passed to them by their parents.

 

We are up against Leviathan it seems. We can fight with our weapons--Rosaries holy hours sacrifices--but it is the Blessed Mother who will fix this in the end. But we must stand in the gap and pray and sacrifice and love. And forgive. Immediately and I mean immediately I received a word in my spirit: Corinthians 12:9. I had a Bible in my lap so I realized I should look it up. Here it was. (St Paul says) " But He told me 'dont worry. I am enough for you. I show up best in weak people." Wow. There it was. The secret! Of course I can't do it. Jesus does it in me. His grace is sufficient.

Cardinal Sarah said, long ago regarding the Pope, "pray for him like he's your own father". At the time I thought "really?".
But what else is there for us to do ~ "Pray, hope and don't worry"
