Pope Francis depresses me, saddens me, scandalises me, angers me, irritates me. Not only me but millions and millions of other Catholics who are simply trying to live the Faith as best they can.

I don't think that is what a Spiritual Father is supposed to do with his children, but he manages it pretty well every day now. I wish I could simply ignore him but he is very, very hard to ignore. I can't even raise the energy to contradict him. He has totally worn me out.

He is a huge, huge affliction on the Church on account of our sins.

Oh well, as my mother used to say to us children,

'Offer it up to the Sacred Heart!'

I have always heard that Hell is in the bowels of the Earth.

Lord Jesus Christ, our Way, our Truth, and our Life, You who confronted Pharisees with a series of "Woes", speak to the heart of Pope Francis concerning his blatantly false teaching on Hell. May he be publicly rebuked by prelates within the Church! For the Pope to declare such falsity, even if only in an interview, confuses ill-formed Catholics, and seems to indicate to non-Catholics that the Church has reneged on the Truth. Save our Pontiff from discovering in the the fire of Hell itself, the grievous attack on Truth he has perpetrated.

Lord have Mercy on Pope Francis!

Exactly. As described in Don Bosco's vision of Hell...
" Ahead of me I could see something like an immense cave that gradually disappeared into recesses sunk far into the bowels of the mountains. They were all ablaze, but theirs was not an earthly fire with leaping tongues of flames. The entire cave - walls, ceiling, floor, iron, stones, wood, and coal - everything was a glowing white at temperatures of thousands of degrees. Yet The fire did not incinerate, did not consume. I simply can't find words to describe the cavern's horror".

Sister Lucy of Fatima Describes the Vision of Hell
At Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary told the three child seers that many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray or make sacrifices for them. In her Memoirs, Sister Lucy describes the vision of hell that Our Lady showed the children at Fatima:

She opened Her hands once more, as She had done the two previous months. The rays [of light] appeared to penetrate the earth, and we saw, as it were, a vast sea of fire. Plunged in this fire, we saw the demons and the souls [of the damned]. The latter were like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, having human forms. They were floating about in that conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames which issued from within themselves, together with great clouds of smoke. Now they fell back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fright (it must have been this sight which caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me). The demons were distinguished [from the souls of the damned] by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals. That vision only lasted for a moment, thanks to our good Heavenly Mother, Who at the first apparition had promised to take us to Heaven. Without that, I think that we would have died of terror and fear.”
